    It's a stretch to call him a star. And he was the only guy to trade and potentially get back a haul. The haul wasn't there, other teams knew the Hawks were against the cap. If Stan found a deal I'm sure he would have been gone. But that being said the cap crunch coming Im glad they kept Sharp for another Cup run. Probably wont make a serious run again until 2018. What are you going on about? Saying that keeping Sharp was the right move to win another cup this season. Summer of 2015 will be bad, not quite as bad as 2010. And Sharp is a star.

    I'm sure the Bears will [expletive] it up in the 2nd half and finish 7-9 or even 8-8. Split with Detroit and Minnesota(2-2) split with Dallas and New Orleans(1-1) beat Tampa and of course lose to GB.

    Check out vegasinsiders, Cubs are at 25-1 as of this morning(I cant check at work, firewall) they are in line with most of the strip hotels. Shop around, some might be closer to 50-1.

    99% sure Raanta is waiver exempt. Right, Myers was saying the other day Raanta does not have to clear waivers. Moot issue though, or at least it should be. Hmm, Committed Indian must be wrong. I would think Darling would be sent down anyway to get more playing time than he would as Crawford's backup.

    The Blackhawks thru 9 games this season have scored 21 goals, last season they started off slow as well with 24 thru 9 games. Not too worried.

    If the Cubs were to have a WS clincher at home, I would think SRO would be at least $2500. All those retired blue hairs from Iowa have money. Hopefully we find out within the next 4 years.

    I think Raanta has to clear waivers if he were to be sent down to Rockford. Probably want another look at Darling. They know what they have with Raanta. When Crawford is back later this week I would think Darling gets sent back.

    For you guys that got tickets especially if you got GA, I would expect the secondary market to be very good. $75 seats should go for $250 or more. The lineup is outstanding Naked Raygun Urge Overkill Cheap Trick Foo Fighters Foo Fighters are probably my thrid favorite of the four.

    I think Nashville might be last year's Colorado. Richards and Seabrook had bad games, but they lost, I will take 4-1-1 every six games.

    This is from what Pat Foley said during last night's broadcast "Get the red out" I didn't hear it, I missed the beginning of the game and the first half of the third. I think that means you had to buy tickets to a second non-Chicago game in order to get these tickets (probably still cheaper than a single ticket to the UC) but they also gave a bag of popcorn to anyone wearing a yellow sweater. Foley also mentioned you would get two tickets if you turned in a Hawks shirt or cap too. Did I hear that right? That can’t be right, can it?     Do they still do that? I know they tried not selling to Hawks fans last year, but they ditched that plan, right? The way I understood it, to get Hawks tickets you either had to be a season ticket holder, or if you bought from ticketmaster you had to also purchase a non Hawks game ticket. Still doesn't stop someone who is a Preds fan from selling on Stub Hub or Ebay. Still comes out cheaper for Hawks fans to buy on the secondary market, than buying home Hawks tickets. Plus Nashville is an 8 hour drive and a very fun city to visit.

    Hawks in Nashville tonight. Lets see how their "Get the Red out" campaign works. Although it is a weeknight, I think there will be a lot of Hawks fans there

    The Chicago Blackhawks do not have a single 2nd period goal this entire 2014-15 season That's about the only negative I can come up with in the first five games.
