  1. Just about any SB from the mid 80's to the mid 90's were all garbage blowouts with exception of Super Bowl XXIII and XXV.(of course I enjoyed SB XX) This game was a one score game until late, it didn't have a lot of scoring but Id take last night's game over any blowout not involving my team.
  2. They're there. I just checked on my phone. Weird, must be my app, I see tons of them from my pc but the app comes up not found. Edited. Ok so when I am connected to my work's wifi It thinks I am in Europe, which is why I couldn't get 30 for 30 but I can see shows like The Big Bang Theory which I can't at home on my wifi network. I guess I can use this to my advantage. Sorry for the scare earlier saying that 30 for 30 was gone.
  3. Damn, when did Netflix take the 30 for 30's off of their streaming service? I thought most if not all of the old ones were there not too long ago.
  4. I just want the Bears to win another SB so people can stop talking about the 85 Bears. It was the first Bears team I watched, and I thought that team should have won more than one, that's the biggest problem I have with them. I was almost 9 when they won, but maybe I was a little young to appreciate them for that one single season.
  5. Well it beats the shootout, but both are gimmicks to make sure a game ends with a "winner" Because ties are stupid and should be relegated to soccer and Greco-Roman wrestling And why is winner in quotes? Winner is in quotes because they received the extra point in a 3-3 contest that isn't real hockey. I get it, it's better than the shootout, and 3-3 keeps them to a minimum. I just don't agree that it is the best thing in sports, especially when games ending in OT/Shootout are now 3 point games and regulation games are 2. This has been going on since the 2005 lockout. I agree ties are stupid, and there is no real solution, I just wish there was a better way to go about it.
  6. Well it beats the shootout, but both are gimmicks to make sure a game ends with a "winner" I never saw Coach Q more irate than he was last night after that [expletive] no goal call on Hossa
  7. Indefinite suspension for Wideman
  8. It seemed like they were playing every other night the whole month of January. Some teams have played as many as 6 games less than them. It will benefit them as they get towards the playoffs as the schedule will be lighter(only 29 games post ASG)
  9. Good post. Yeah I should probably make my picks and go to a bookie and bet the opposite.
  10. Damn right. It's the best way to implement the DH and deep down you know it. Agreed, they mentioned this on the radio today. You could use your DH option on someone shitty like Ross instead of the pitcher.
  11. Was it really? As in 2016? Last time they trailed before last night was the beginning of the 1st period on NYE of last year. Streak had to end, this was the game I figured it probably would. As for the playoffs, I really like this team's chances. Going into the season I thought it might mirror the 2010-11 season but so far anyway they look like one of the top 3 Cup contenders.
  12. Does that project them to around 86 wins?
  13. New England and Arizona advance
  14. The only time they trailed at any point during the streak was 1-0 in game 2 of this streak. Crazy
  15. Yup it is because that is without a doubt his dad. Probably 1993ish
  16. Only 2pts behind last year's pace, but this season feels a lot like the 2010-11 season after this group's first Cup. They will end up getting in barely and that is all that really matters.
  17. I haven't watched the game and only some of the last one but isn't it hard to evaluate his performance when the defense consists of Hammer, Seabrook and a bunch of 6th defensemen probably, I'm just at the game and he blows from my angle. An expensive goalie should stop some shots Crawford has, for the most part, kept the Hawks afloat. So long as the recent slump is the exception rather than the rule he'll be fine. Yeah he has been great with the exception of the St Louis and New Jersey game this year. Their defensive depth with Keith out is what is concerning, not a two time Stanley Cup winning goalie having a rough go of it for a short period of time.
  18. So It sounds like a minimum 8 week injury? I was looking forward to the Hawks playing him
  19. Yeah shitty game after being up 5-2 after a period. Especially since the Blues were diverted to Milwaukee overnight and had to bus it down to Chicago. Oh well, just make the playoffs as a WC or whatever, just get in. Other than that I was pissed for about 5 seconds after the loss.
  20. Well, if he did nothing wrong then he is a victim. Not sure if this is sarcasm or not?
  21. Not sure why so many people are actually assuming Kane did nothing wrong and is actually a victim in this case. I really need to stop reading some of the filth on FB and Twitter.
  22. Could do away with the Ghostbusters stuff on the Delorean. With tomorrow being Back to the Future day I hope the Cubs have evened up the series at 2-2.
  23. So roughly December 1st? Should be able to tread water until then. Just make the playoffs and then go from there.
  24. Same here. And should they happen to lose tonight, I'm still not giving up hope. Although it means nothing, the Red Sox ended their long drought coming back from 3-0 vs the other New York team in 2004.
