So $1 per week for the Athletic? I always told myself I would never pay for sports content or any news content. But then I remembered I used to pay 35 cents daily for the Sun Times back in the day and that was garbage.

My dad woke me up to break the news to me and I cried like a bitch I was definitely hurling some, "but WHY's?!?" at my dad when he was explaining it to me. I couldn't even process why the Cubs wouldn't pay him whatever he wanted. Similar experience to me. My dad basically said "The Cubs have always been cheap as horsefeathers and always will be"

Wow, just read a few brewerfan.net threads. LOL some of the posts there. Espeically KeithStone. Some level headed posts, but the thread about their Wisconsin only ticket preseale takes the cake. I just can't wait until the September series when they are 20 games back of the Cubs en route to a 77-85 record. -
31 teams But yeah it's hard to tell record wise when a game is decided on a gimmick such as 3-3 hockey or the shootout.

The Brewers are taking a page out of the Nashville Predator playbook. What's next? You can't wear your Cubs jerseys and hats to Miller Park? Second rate city, second rate fan base. All of the series in Milwaukee are weeknights except for the first series, I'm sure brewers PR will deem this campaign a success when the park is only 50/50 Cubs fans -

Probably more to do with the fact they are young and dumb. Bernstein and Goff the other day played some clips from a Cleveland radio show. Some old bag said they should take the Indian casinos away from the Indian tribes, why doesn't anyone stick up for her losing money on slots. Some other mouth breather said why do we let women suck unborn babies out of themselves but its not okay to have the Inidans logo?
