    SOMEBODY'S head needs to roll for in effect forfeiting the game. If Neifi did it on his own, he needs to be DFA'd TODAY. If Dusty called for it, he needs to be fired TODAY. It was important to get a sweep against the worst team in the league. Bunting with two outs and Perez representing the winning run is 100% inexcusable.

If Neifi decided on his own to pull a surprise party, he must be released TODAY. If Dusty called for it, he must be fired TODAY.     I don't know why you should be in trouble. Undoubtedly you know your sister also posts here, and Sean Gallagher's father has posted here as well, so it's not like you're the only relative of a Cubs' minor leaguer to post here. We get interesting insights that way.

    Congratulations on making it back to Iowa. Having yourself been sent back to West Tenn to start the year after spending most of last year at Iowa, are you able to give any advice/encouragement to Brandon and Adam to help them deal with the disappointment of being moved down?

    i msut have missed the 2004 in season stuff. will have to go back and get that. But Rey Rey was .246/.289, but for the 2 months with the Cubs, .164/.190. Youch! In 2004 you were too busy bashing Corey and praising Alex Sanchez to notice what was actually going on. :D

    CBS Sportsline is speculating (based on a report in the Tribune) that Prior will make a rehab start for Iowa on May 29 and make his debut with the Cubs on June 3.

    As far as I'm concerned, he already has had his chance to work out of it. Keeping him after the 8-game losing streak was giving him that chance. The subsequent losing streak was him blowing that chance. The come-from-ahead loss on Saturday, followed by the 9-0 loss on Sunday, was the last straw. Time for him to go.
