Yeah, but he's had an upgrade in jobs since then. Since Masur has been doing games for San Diego as part of the booth for 2 years now, he's eligible. He probably wouldn't have been eligible the years he was in Chicago for the work he was doing..at least that's my guess. If you click on his bio on the ballot it looks like his time in Chicago does count (perhaps because he did some fill-in broadcasting). He's credited with 10 years total, 8 in Chicago and 2 in San Diego. Mu guess is that 10 years is the minimum to qualify for the award.
