    FWIW, here is the quality of pitchers faced in AVG/OBP/SLG allowed: Edgar Renteria 0.253/0.337/0.404 Ryan Theriot 0.256/0.335/0.405 Miguel Tejada 0.252/0.330/0.398 can someone expl;ain these numbers? are they saying Theriot compares well to both Renteria and Tejada?

That sounds like a convenient excuse for any Hendry mistake. well, quite honestly, the last time i checked no one on this board goes by the name of Jim Hendry...therefore, we do not have the influence he possesses when it comes to our favorite baseball team... meaning, soriano's contract was meant to be in terms of our realm of being, and anything that comes afterwards will be meant to be as well... want to change it? fine...go take the GM job instead of Hendry...i would be on my way to trying right now, but i am still in school i TRIED BUT HENDRY TRIED TO EAT ME

Nobody's gonna say jack about him, and people are going to ride A-Rod for eternity. Because they are stupid. Imagine if A-Rod was the one who grounded into that heart breaking double play. does this mean NY will let ride Jeter out on a rail? he would be an upgrade @ SS for us

    yes. Selling the Cubs w/o Wrigley wouldnt maximize the bids. Besides, if that were to happen, how long before the Cubs new owner decided to build a new stadium and ditch Wrigley all together?
