The first pitch was the point in which we lost the game. fixed I dont blame Lilly, I wish I saw that emotion from Soriano or Lee Uhh, didn't Lee slam his bat after a strikeout and throw his helmet in disgust only to realize he should be running to first base on a WP? He's shown plenty enough emotion. I don't see why everyone has to be the same and show emotion. That's the first time Lilly has all season (except maybe 1 little fist pump). You guys get mad at Z for showing emotion, you guys get excited when Z shows emotion. It's really hard to keep track of when showing emotion is good and when it isn't (actually, it's easy - when player is doing well, it's good; when player isn't, it's bad). I'm sure all of these guys know they're sucking and are disappointed - one pan into the dugout late yesterday was enough to tell. It's a human reaction but I hope none of these guys goes and hurts themself over it. well if Lee did/has then I a) stand corrected b) didnt see it c) am happy to hear that I was prolly too discusted with his AB that I turned away and missed it..

maybe I'm wrong, but I don't think an extension works that way Ok, I will spell it out... 2008-2010 financial obligations (eliminated if Rodriguez voids): NY: $50,695,500 (08:$15.884M, 09:$16.8985M, 10:$17.913M) Texas: $21,304,500 (08:$8.116M, 09:$7.1015M, 10:$6.087M) So, lets say ARod voids the contract and signs a 7 year 30M per year contract with the Cubs, he will receive 210M and the Cubs will be paying him 210M Instead, the Yanks could offer him a 4 year extention paying him 39.75M a year from 2010-2014. ARod would receive 231M, the Yanks would be paying 210M, and the Rangers would be paying 21M. SO, basically, the yanks can offer ARod 21M more than any other team, while only spending the same as any other team because they'd be paying him with some Texas money. If leaving NY is worth 21M to ARod, then I can see him leaving, but also, don't forget that assumes the Yanks would match the best "offer". Most likely they can outbid anyone they want, he is obviously their most important player, AND they have $ coming off the books. I'd be shocked if the Yanks and ARod didn't agree to an extention. I would argue that at $30 mil a season, leaving $9 mil on the table for a happier place might be worth it its not like he'd be playing for peanuts

Play sports much in your lifetime? sometimes Testosterone + Nerves + Embarrassment + Hugely important situation = violent outburst yeah, it's called choking under pressure. lilly, like most of the rest of the team, wasn't able to handle the pressure, and his little baby fit made that perfectly clear. it was pathetic and embarrassing. Very much so... I guess I just don't understand how it was either. Who cares? He was pissed and threw his glove. So what. agreed

My girlfriend tries to cheer me up when I'm mad about the Cubs, and it just makes me more upset. I feel really bad for her because she doesn't know what to do when I'm like that. She thinks that by being cute and affectionate , I am going to feel better but for some reason it just makes me angrier, and then she gets angry because I brush her off and then I get angry because she gets angry that I'm angry. It's a vicious cycle My girlfriend asked me "what's wrong with Lilly?" after the score was 6-2. Then she tried to talk to me for a while. I've told her over and over again to just leave me alone in those situations, but she refuses to listen. Drives me insane. yup. my wife asked the score and what was up..I told her to go to bed we havent talked yet today....

I logged out at that point. Looks like that one's a lost cause. Is she hot? Doesn't matter if she's hot. Snood just blew any chance he had with that conversation. Stupid women and never forgetting anything. Sure, they might say they forgave you, but 10 years later you're still paying for it. no way. she's interested in snood. this will improve his chances.
