  1. He has talent now. That's what is so scary to me. Didn't Illinois get a new AD? How many years left on Weber's contract? Like 5, RG extended him before he left. I think this is really great
  2. http://aol.sportingnews.com/nfl/story/2012-01-19/woody-johnson-says-holmes-will-return-in-2012
  3. great, who will we invade first?
  4. I'd take Colston if he was available. He's been very consistent and productive albeit in a heavy pass-friendly offense. one season under 1k yards, a season he was hurt IIRC, adn good TD #'s: http://www.nfl.com/player/marquescolston/2495821/profile
  5. I doubt we would get a 1st rd, maybe 2nd or (2) 2nd's. I cant remember the last draft pick for RB trade in the NFL, tho.
  6. non unless we franchise or sign him
  7. yea, defensive players are easier to replace (aside form all-star CB's) then QB's. I love Urlacher, Peppers, Briggs, but we can continue with out them too.
  8. if we're dumping Barber, I'd rather have a faster smaller back to compliment Forte. Bell is just a slower Forte, imo. and as far as correcting fumbling, I've never been convinced of this. It seems like that gets said alot, but its purely a mental block some rb's have. They just tend to get away from fundamentals, ie handling the football. I dont want to wait forever for Bell to figure that out.
  9. eta: Kahlil Bell? I'd feel more comfortable with him if he didnt have a habit of fumbling so much. he was dogged by that in college, and it seems that hasnt changed
  10. what would you want to spend on a second rb? and who?
  11. Arkush is kind of an idiot, has been ever since he pined so much for Shoop and Shane Matthews
  12. I'm not that hot on getting rid of Barber, he wasnt that bad aside form the Denver game where he made bad mental mistakes. but why worry about sitting a rb? they generally can do well as rookies.
  13. The man pulled Cruz (seemingly) from his ass. I want him.
  14. I could see a 4-5 year deal and drafting RB early in 2 years. cut forte down the road if he begins to tank.
  15. what was Forte's injury again? I didnt think it was that major that it could effect his play longterm
  16. I cant believe a new GM would let Forte sit. That was Angelos gig.
  17. LaCoste. and those Douchebags could by your freaking town.
  18. Saturday told the team he may retire. Maybe rob got confused
  19. The man seems to be able to draft wr's and de's, I like him
  20. It would mean a knee-jerk reaction = GREG OLSON as OC and THAT'S scary
  21. Them sinking their own ship will be little in the way on consolation. Would you really need to be consoled if Tice was no longer the Bears OC? Depending on his replacement, possibly. that would be my only worry: the Bears hiring someone less exciting then Tice. And it is a legit concern, but I really doubt Tice gets the Raiders gig
  22. Them sinking their own ship will be little in the way on consolation. not to us, but the reality of hiring a guy who didnt exactly set the NFL on fire the last time he was HC will probably be enough to keep them away. I like Tice as a position coach. I'm open to him being a Offensive Coordinator. I'm appalled by the idea of him as a HC.
  23. Which would be completely new and different for the Raiders! considering old man Al is gone, I think it would be surprising. McKenzie doesnt strike me as that dumb.
  24. oh comon! the Raiders arent going to hire Mike Tice to be their HC. and if they do, they sink their own ship.
