  1. Soldier Field playing Nuns and Hoses on Mack's int might be the play of the game
  2. I bet it looks horsefeathering terrible, everyone will tell you its horsefeathering terrible, but desperate for rewarding taste you'll try anyway. And on brand, it will be horsefeathering terrible
  3. I have a hard time believing any head coach who calls plays willingly gives it up
  4. I know you are frustrated, this isn't entirely accurate. 1) to compare Nagy with Reid is....not reassuring. Reid's been in the league for decades and failed multiple times before he won the SB. Nagy COULD do that too, but if he follows Reid's trajectory, it won't be with us 2) Pace didn't stabilize the franchise with Fox, Fox was not Paces hire iirc 3) Paces drafts have been a little here, a miss there. I wasn't comparing Nagy to Reid, it was moreso to Pederson. Fox was Pace's hire. Might not have been his choice only, but it was his hire and we can't just throw out those 3 years. I've been under the impression that Pace was forced to hire Fox from McCaskey or Phillips, was that not true?

  6. What happened to the play action and rollouts
  7. terrible run call, but Robinson should have had the 1st
  8. Matt Miller had a mock this week with all 4 in the top 9 (Lawrence, Fields, Lance and Wilson in that order). Bears got Mac Jones at 18 (Kyle Trask was picked ahead of Jones so 6 QBs went top 18). Maybe it's best we start playing with no lineman so we can get into that higher group come draftday
  9. I mean, it's a standard. I think the McCaskeys appreciate that they made a playoff run and are in the hunt this year after being pathetic for a few years. its pretty stunning how a few missed draft picks can absolutely tank a team. I liked Trubisky when they drafted him primarily because as raw pointed out, he was a consensus top QB by the "gurus" (trading up was foolish, but a different issue). Its caused me to wonder how experts rate these guys, and why they can be so wildly off. Was there anyone saying Mahomes was the guy back then? if so, is that the pre-draft source to follow?
  10. nah...but Foles may start to seriously consider retirement leaving us w/o an experienced QB next year
  11. Rofl. Just roll out the full JV offense and run power I all game. How? Who do they have that can block???
  12. How many o-linemen have the Bears lost in the last 3 weeks, 6?
  13. Ryan Pace for President
  14. ahhh 2020, you're the gift that keeps giving. watch him win it
  15. Only if that bridge is trying to get the number 1 pick in 2022. Well if that's the bridge they're going to do a lot worse than Foles even. Top 15 with all your trade chips in tact will have to do. I don't think Foles has ever finished a full season. If he starts next year, there's a decent chance we see Bray. IE, there still a chance at #1! (just draft the NDSU guy and I'll deal with it)
  16. provocations aside, punching a football helmet is a great way to break your hand. stupid.
  17. I don't agree with regards to Foles, but def agree with regards to Pace Foles sucked. he was league average, at best
  18. This is a game the Bears have no business winning, but with all the injuries on the Saints side and Robinson playing, Mack likely too, they have a legit shot at pulling it off
  19. Not that it means much, Brees spreads the ball around like he's horsefeathering Santa Claus on Xmas eve
