  1. Indy is a small town? That is news to me. It also happens to be very well liked by just about everyone when they host any kind of big sporting event. A lot of that has to do with the fact that every sports venue is downtown (Speedway is close enough). If the United Center wasn't out of the way and next to nothing Chicago would probably have it every year. Also Chicago is so big that it won't revolve around the tourney when it is there. When the tourney is in Indy that is all there is in town.
  2. But the game happened in 2000. I think he knows that but is saying ESPN used that as an excuse to not put it there.
  3. There's also th 7 OT games in CFB. For my taste I'll take a big game between ranked teams or playoff games over any game against two mediocre teams but some might have it in the top 25.
  4. There are two massive omissions that would both be in my top ten. The tuck rule game and the Titans/Rams Super bowl. The tuck rule game had bad weather, a back and forth battle decided on the last play and a single play that will be remembered forever. The Super bowl is still by far the best one. It was decided on the last play that wasn't a field goal and it was decided by half a yard where it was unclear for a longtime whether or not Dyson actually scored. Oh and speaking of those playoffs I would say the Music City Miracle should be in there. Somewhere around 20 I would say.
  5. If anything this helps retain Pujols. Remember he said as long as he feels they are trying to compete he will stay. If they let Holliday go and they struggle or don't win the division Pujols may see that as not trying to compete.
  6. Still not as big as the Soriano contract but big. This could get sticky for them when its time to extend Pujols, unless of course they dont mind spending at leat 5 years with Pujols, Holliday, and whatever prospects or scraps they build around them. Might not be as big as Sori's but its similar to the thread already posted about this offer.
  7. I can see both sides of the argument. It's just as a fan and hypothetical coach/GM I would never want players who will take plays off when he feels like it. Give me the guys who are so competitive and driven that one bad play is too much for them. So because some boob on Carolina said Moss quit on his team, that means it's accurate? I'm not buying it. Moss hasn't been a problem at all in New England and it sounds more like sour grapes from Gamble's end than anything else. Give me Moss over T.O. any day of the week. Have you not watched Moss his whole career??? The question of whether he was quit on some plays came about in college and has been brought up in almost every year of his pro career including his first year or two when he was forced to return punts early on and he walked out of bounds on one (with no one around). That's false. It hasn't been brought up at all since he's been on the Patriots until now. By the national media? No. By a lot of fans? Yes. The media didn't really talk about it except when he is leaving a team. When he left Minnesota they talked about how the Vikings didn't like his attitude or effort. In Oakland he was lambasted by everyone because it was obvious. In NE it hasn't gotten mentioned because they have won and he has put up good stats, however, it has still be noticeable in just about every game I have watched. He doesn't block a lot of the time when the run isn't coming right at him.
  8. Are you going to tell everyone what they like or don't like on here now as well? It's going to be tough to get a win at Heinz but if there was ever a year and a time to do it, now would be it. If we win this game, we're in pretty good shape at running the table. Jesus. Seriously F off. I try to do people a favor since I know people have complained many times about gifs including a rant/site suggestion and someone throws it back in my face.

  11. cool I laugh at almost everyone I'm just saying spoiler would probably be appreciated by most. I don't really care because I only use the internet with a computer and fast connection.
  12. I like the Saints and enjoy the gifs but I'm sure many hate your incredibly long gifs that are more like videos.
  13. Anyone else hope he turns it down simply because even though it's a bad deal in long term it makes them a lot better in short term?
  14. I'd take the guy who's actually still good at football. Figured someone would say this and ignore the crap T.O. is playing with in Buffalo. Since Jauron was fired 4.75 catches 84.75 yards and 0.75 TD's a game. For a season that would equate to 76-1356-12. So you're expecting T.O. to have a 98-yard TD catch once every four games? Take out that outlier and he's averaged 4.5 catches and 60.5 yards for a pace of 72-964-8. T.O.'s had one 100+ catch season (exactly 100) in 2002. His last 1200+ yard season was in 2007 and his last run of three straight was from 2000-02. Brandon Marshall, on the other hand, is on pace for 106-1241-11 this year. In two full time years, he's had more 100+ catch seasons than T.O. had in his whole career and this would be his third straight. He's also on pace for his third straight 1200+ yard season. It's pretty clear who the better receiver is at this point, even if you can't see it. Marshall is better than T.O. at this point. Thanks for pointing out the obvious. However, this was about whether you would rather have Moss or T.O. at this point. Oh and 72-964-8 is about as good as you can get when Fitzpatrick is throwing the ball to you and you have a brand new OC midway through the season.
  15. Yep. Both Polamalu and Fitzgerald have had injury problems this year, now. Go Madden. Even in retirement he is hurting players.
  16. So I've had DirecTV for two years and never had ti go out for more than a couple minutes at a time. My dish has now been searching for single since the first play in the second half. It's not even doing the cutting in out. Just a black screen for about 15 minutes now. Awesome.
  17. Pretty much. They went 3-and-out the first time out but I think they turned it over every time after that. I think they may have had one other 3-and-out but I'm not sure. I remember the punt where Battle fair caught on the 18-yard line and I don't think that was the first drive.
  18. fixed
  19. I'll listen to this at halftime of MNF and will listen most weeks if I reminded about it.
  20. If Cameron signs I would hope we just keep Bradley. Bradley is better than Cameron and keeping Bradley wasn't an option then, so I don't know why it would be an option now. Bradley is better but not by much. I think ridding the headache of Bradley + drop off to Cameron > keeping Bradley > ridding the headache of Bradley + drop off to Byrd/Pods
  21. I love the refs sucking so much you have to use 2 challenges in the first quarter. The Smith INT I can understand but this Hightower one is woeful. The ref had the perfect angle.

  23. Wait... you like the hawkeyes, vikings and pistons? Why not become a cards fan and complete the chicago-hate circle of life?
  24. If Cameron signs I would hope we just keep Bradley.
