Soto, Soriano, Kosuke are all pretty much locks to be voted in as starters (Soriano obviously won't start too bad Edmonds has turned it on too late to be able to get there. Lee is likely in as the backup 1b because Pujols is about 60,000 back and injured. Aramis should be in as a backup 3b with a 136,000 lead over third. DeRosa is definately the backup 2b as he has a 150,000 lead over third. The only one lagging is Theriot as he is 59,000 back of third. So all we need to do is keep up our current production with a increase to Theriot. Also we should start voting for Edmonds a lot just to see if we can get him in the top 10 because that would be hilarious a player who sucked until a month to go before the game and wasn't even signed two months prior to voting ending places top 10 at OF. So we got three starters and 2 or 3 other players in as backups almost definately. This is all without pitchers. I would say Wood makes it because the guy who leads the NL in saves has a 4.4 era. Lidge is definately in as he has 18 saves as well and a below 1.00 era. Wood is liklely the second and only other one just because he has the saves, a big name, and has been getting strikeouts which helps. Marmol I would think gets in as well. After that I think Zambrano could make it on name alone but so many SP in the NL are doing well and with the every team gets an all-star rule might not make it. Same with Demp. So we have low balling it 5 all-stars, most likely 7 in my mind, and as many as 9 or 10.
