  1. That can easily be misinterpreted. I can see how you would but the entire paragraph is about their defense and defense was already mentioned in the sentence.
  2. I assume you are basing this off of my LewJack stuff. I find it funny how you can misinterpret a post and then run with it as if you are right. I said LewJack could become a 15 point scorer. He very well could because he is very talented. I don't think he will. I would say he probably averages 10 pts or so his senior year but he could score 15 a game. Oh and that's not a projection its an evaluation of his potential. Big difference.
  3. he hasn't deserved to be embrace yet, though. his game hasn't been good. but as far as doing the other things, he's been golden. I bet if his name was Chris Kramer you would love him, very similar games between the two yet everyone always shits all over Chester. It's not his fault he was put in the situation he was last year, that goes on Bruce and his poor recruiting. umm no Let's see Frazier averaged .8 steals a game last year in 33 minutes while Kramer averaged 2.3 in 29 minutes. Frazier might be a good defender but Kramer is ridiculously good. He not only makes people shoot bad but he gets a lot of steals. Then offensively Frazier is a liability while Kramer is someone who just doesn't shoot much (probably because he works the defense so much). Frazier has never even shot 36% in a season while Kramer's lowest is .430 his freshman year. In other words Kramer can score when needed and when left open Frazier just simply can't. So to sum up Kramer is a better shooter, defender and a much better player all around. He is also the clear team leader. Kramer is just a better athlete. I really like Kramer's game a lot. i'm going to have to come to chet's defense, here. kramer gets more steals and shoots a better percentage. however, chet is a better ball handler, distributer, and rebounder. as far as team leader, i believe that they were saying today on btn that the players call chet "coach frazier" (maybe they call kramer "mr. athletic director" at purdue, i wouldn't know). like i said, they're both role players and it's comical to say that either is "ridiculously good". haha.......hahahahaha. Read the post and don't take it out of context. Kramer is ridiculously good at defense and that is what I said. I never wrote he was ridiculously good overall. Oh and yes Frazier has more assists but his assist to turnover ratio his worse than Kramer's in their career's. The reason Kramer doesn't get a lot of assists is because everyone on Purdue can handle the ball (except the center's) so they don't have a true point guard because they don't need one.
  4. no that is what he excels at he picks the ball out a lot when a guy has the ball

That's what he rely's on. He was all-state in basketball, the team's starting QB (a scrambler with almost 1000 yards rushing) and the team's starting shortstop. Everytime I watch a game and he makes a play I think about what he could be if his legs weren't complete crap.

  7. I got a couple real tough ones. First is Colston or Moore - Same team same position; one is a star but the other has been doing better Then I have to pick one of DeAngelo, LJ or Slaton (it is a PPR)
  8. their oh jeez excuse me sorry for inconveniencing you stop hurting english you mean engrish?

  10. I know no one cares but Ball State is 2-1 and there 6'9" freshman looks to be a near lock for freshman of the year in the MAC. He's averaging 18 pts 11 rebounds a steal and a block per game through 3.
  11. Griffin is putting up video game numbers. After his 35/21 today he's up to 26.0 PPG and 19.75 RPG. 5 assists too, and he hit another 3pointer yet the team almost lost No one on the team shot well, except Griffin (14-20) and he basically willed OU to a win all by himself. Hell, Crocker was 1-for-11 and Warren was (i think) 5-15 while Gardner Webb sat in a zone the entire game. Griffin did all his damage with 3 guys draped on him because they knew we weren't going to hit a shot. Why do you feel the need to attach my picture to one out of every 5 of your posts. Do I need to get a restraining order on you?

  13. This is my problem with most Big 10 fans- especially the ones here. Everything is "conference this" and "conference that," as though "conferences" win anything. I realize that there are tons of SEC fans who flap their gums about being the best conference in the world in football, but the raging inferiority complex that Big 10 fans display is stinking hilarious. Seriously, you've made the point- you have tiny e-dongs. That said, I don't get it. Who cares which conference is better or worse? Last time I checked the Pac 10 doesn't play the SEC. Nor does the Big 10 play the Big 12. And, despite the name of the "challenge", the Big East does not play the ACC. Individual teams play one another, and how Tennessee fares (or UCLA, or Illinois, or Kansas, or... well, you get it) is not a product of the conference. The Big 10 hasn't been humiliated in the National Championship the past two years- Ohio St. has. The SEC didn't win any championships. Florida and LSU did. As a Tennessee fan, what should it matter to me that Ohio State got spanked by those teams? So did UT. The Big 12 is not the reigning National Champion. Kansas is. Why should Texas or Oklahoma or Missouri or any other Big 12 schools fans brag about that? Their team didn't win anything. They just lost to the team that did. I just don't get it. And I know that SEC fans are guilty of it, especially in football. That doesn't make sense to me either. If Florida destroys Oklahoma or Texas in the National Championship game, am I going to walk around pounding my chest about it? Heck no, I hate Florida. It just doesn't make sense to me. Conferences are college's divisions. Do you not care if the NL is better than the AL? Do you not care that the Central is better than any other division? Plus where the heck are you getting this from the post you quoted. All he says is the UM-Duke game will likely leave only one conference completely undefeated. Why are you taking that as a Big Ten fan with an inferiority complex? It could be just as likely he is pumped for the ACC to perhaps be the only undefeated team. No, I don't care if the NL is better than the AL. If the Cubs don't win the World Series, am I supposed to take solace in the fact that the Phillies did? The Cardinals? Why? They aren't the Cubs. And, no, that was not all he said. Nor was this post (in spite of the quote) directed at only this post. SSR has a history (as do a few others- mostly Illinois fans) of "inferiority complex posts," primarily regarding the SEC. More than any other poster, he takes jab after jab at "SEC fans", and I find it humorous. Call it a reply to a body of work, and if you are unfamiliar with that body, I can certainly understand the confusion. That's fine you don't care about divisions but a large majority of sports fans do. If you want to rant about people having inferiority complex's (which many people do here) fine by me but ranting about people rooting for their conference is pointless. The reason I root for other Big Ten teams is because it will help Purdue out not only in SOS since they play them later but it helps the conference and thus every team in it look better which matters when it comes to seeding.

  15. Big win for Michigan and the other Big Ten teams. It will help everyone's SOS in the Big Ten.
  16. Because the Big East was built to be a basketball powerhouse. After they lost Va Tech, Miami, and Boston College, every team they added (save South Florida) had a strong basketball program. How's all that worked out for the football side to the conference?
  17. I would rather convince Sammy to come out of retirement ...
  18. I don't think he will ever become dominant but I think he can be a 15 point scorer and top assist player. His shooting seems to need work but Keaton Grant went from a crappy 3-pt shooter to one of the Big Ten's top ones. Scoring 15 pts/game and being near the top of the league in assists is dominant. I'll eat your hat if LewJack ever averages 15 pts/game. I'd put less than even money on him averaging double digits ever. I said he could be that. Its his ceiling. He is already a very good passer averaging almost 4 assists a game in about 22 minutes (and only has 1 total turnover). He's also good at steals having five in three games. Judging by him having attempted a three in every game I'm guessing he can actually shoot 3's pretty well so he should start making some at some point. From what I saw in the first two games I would say he should average 5 pts 3-4 assists and a steal off the bench in about 20 minutes of play this year. For a freshman guard that's pretty darn good.

  20. Except for you would probably lose. Hansbrough plays there is no probably to it. They are so far and away better than anyone else this year. No game with two winning teams is a guarantee March Madness teaches us that.
  21. Holy crap I forgot all about that. I literally can't recall anything about it other than it was hosted by AC Slater.
  22. Except for you would probably lose.
  23. How are you watching it? Do you have ESPN U? And yeah Lewis Jackson is really good. It's not just that he is fast its that he knows how to use it. He can drive very well reminds me of Willie Deane. Oh and the Purdue offense came on strong at the end of the first half finishing with 40. Not great but Purdue will always be defensive minded first and they held them to 14.
  24. They were picked to finish second in the West actually although for some reason they were the only West team to get a vote to win the MAC Tournament. Oh and Eastern played without their best player Carlos Medlock. Although he's a guard and Kramer would have shut him down. We also didn't play anyone for like the last 4min.... I know but the team we played wasn't the team people think can win the MAC West.
