Maybe he wants to win. Too late now. Contrary to popular belief, the Bears are not as bad as some think. The Bears still have their Super Bowl caliber defense intact. If the Offense is even remotely average, the Bears should and could challenge for best in the NFC. Yeah, I said it..... Pardon my pessimism, but what makes you think the Bears have even a remotely average offense? The offensive line should make a couple strides, but all the skill position players are terrible or question marks First of all, I said "IF" they had an offense remotely average. Second, there is plenty of offensive talent on the Bears. The PROBLEM is, they are way.............underdeveloped (Grossman) or extremely raw( Bradley and Hester). And I know the Bears should not be hedging their bets on "serious ???", but it's not as if they players don't have the talent to succeed. So, I am still holding out hope that the Bears will have an average OFFENSE next yr.
