Bet it won't. I think the general public perception on baseball would be more damaged than it already is, assuming the other players on the list are some big name athletes. Steroids, presumably, helped save baseball and now it would appear it's going to cause the most damage to the sport. Me personally I could care less, as I'm sure most people here would also share that sentiment. We love baseball more than the average fan, so much so we make it part of our daily lives via this message board. There isn't much that will phase out our interest in the sport. But to the average fan, I think their perception of the sport will be very badly damaged if the names on the rest of that list include some highly touted players. It won't be utterly destroyed, but it will take people at least a little bit before they can watch baseball the same way they did back when they didn't think anything was terribly wrong. If the list includes just a few big names, but mostly minor leaguers or journeymen, then yeah, not many people will care. I don't think it will end up that way though, but that's just my unfounded opinion
