  1. does not compute... this didnt happen against the Cubs
  2. Turner apparently played hurt all of 2024
  3. that dude is huge. Chance of Darnell moving to LT?
  4. Saw a quote that reportedly came right from Shedeur at his draft party that said something like "We all know this shouldn't have happened." Dude may end up proving folks wrong, but man he seems arrogant (which is a bit of a pre-requisite for a QB, but he may just lean a bit too far into it)
  5. Yeah, I'd take either of those. A RB, an OL, and an EDGE sounds look a good idea
  6. Did we really need 3 minutes of these 2 telling us when they would announce the games being played 3 and a half months before the season will start?
  7. Don't know anyone is going to want to trade up
  8. Well, that's a big move from Jacksonville
  9. I just think it would be a poor use of draft picks when this team has more needs than just a RB, even though I expect Jeanty to be a very good pro RB. I think a trade up would result in the Bears being able to draft one less starting quality player in this draft
  10. If they trade up and get Abdul Carter, great. If they move up for Jeanty, I am going to be disappointed
  11. Yeah, 01 Sammy put up 10 WAR (bRef) with a 204 ops+ on a team where the 2nd best hitter was 49 games of 37 year old Fred McGriff or 95 games of Rondell White.
  12. Yep, Shaw was taking some good ABs even if they results weren't there. And i thought he played pretty good D too
  13. The players the Bears would possibly trade up for are probably Carter or Graham, right? Don't think Graham is close to the level of trading up for. Carter might be, but there is supposedly a lot of edge talent that could be had around 39/41, so it wouldn't seem to be worth it.
  14. A proposal I've seen includes moving the arc back and just making a true arc, no corner 3
  15. In baseball it's a lot easier to throw money at the problem though, which the Ishbia family seems to be willing to do
  16. for the record, the game should still be 1-1 and continuing
  17. I agree that he shouldn't be in the bullpen. He's not a reliever
  18. Wicks has certainly not been great... but he's no lost cause and we've certainly trotted out worse pitchers plenty. But my response was more about the feeling I got from the comments that I thought had more to do with his recent performances than anything else.
  19. you people acting like Wicks is terrible because of some softly hit singles the other day and a couple of bad plays today are ridiculous
  20. I think the guy in the picture has a bit less melanin than Lee
  21. I was watching on my phone when Happ hit the GS, and turned the TV on right after the Tucker triple. I shut it off again after the Gurriel HR. I turned the phone on to see Happ single and Tuck hit a bomb. Sorry for almost blowing it.
  22. Hodge may not be available the rest of the weekend either
