  1. That's just so ridiculous... he was safe, but because they blew the call at first it stands
  2. Season flow status: Better! It Feels Better!
  3. missed the first 2 strikes against Andujar... missed a first pitch strike against Steer...
  4. just like I said... pickoff and two quick outs to get out of it
  5. here comes a run... expecting a wild pitch, a groundout to Nico, then a SF
  6. I've seen this photo pop up a couple times, and I can't help but wonder if Dansby looking to see if he beat the throw contributed to his missing the bag... didn't notice it on replay, but it looks kinda obvious here that he's looking for the throw and not the bag
  7. 2 straight check swing hits and a Happ misplay... Brown is snakebitten
  8. Only a terrible throw got us a run that inning... despite two balls hit that are usually HRs. Not sure how Kelly didnt score on PCA's double. They were never close to catching that
  9. yep, he and Jed are so similar... two extremely conservative guys running teams in huge markets and hesitating to spend what they need to spend... liked Rosenthal's point that they're counting on their guys progressing and the team continuing to improve... but so were the Orioles, who have collapsed this year. I really hope that Caissie, Alcantara, Long, Mo, etc. keep hitting in Iowa to finish the season and Jed can make an offseason move for a frontline starter
  10. Kriske and Hollowell are easy outs from the bullpen. Pomeranz is probably next given he's turning into a pumpkin. Brown and/or Horton to the minors for Taillon/Assad McGuire goes for Amaya, Ballesteros back down for Castro
  11. I'm disappointed that they didn't get a better starter than Soroka. I feel like they've been a SP away from being a strong contender since Steele went down. However, the bullpen appears to have gotten better. The lineup is stronger with Castro able to fill in and give breaks. The postseason bullpen could be nasty if they can include Horton and Brown
  12. yeah, that why I think it's more about the package than Mo... I think they'd be fine moving him, if the value is right (same as it ever was, with Jed)
