  1. Illinois covering way too soft this drive
  2. Pittsburgh is putting on a clinic. You can tell they have been here before.
  3. dude was only 20 games under with what may just be the worst offensive team in the majors during his tenure... i think he got the short end of he stick; and without knowing anything about his coaching style or really anything about him, i wouldn't be upset to hear his name come up for the Cubs vacancy in the offseason
  4. Jon Greenberg on ESPNChicago on Reinsdorf's pitch... You know, I hate that we didn't get LeBron, but I feel that Reinsdorf and Co. did what they needed to do to put themselves in a position to get him, but he apparently just didn't want to be "The Man" even though he's been calling himself "King James" since he was 16
  5. I think his argument would be that Pierce was either the 1st, or 1a with Garnett
  6. and once more, SCREW YOU GHANA! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
  7. stopped!!!! ... and then an even worse one taken... wow
  8. SCREW YOU GHANA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  9. Chris Sheridan wouldn't know his right hand from his left hand, but all he is doing is playing the Knicks fans. i agree completely, just thought it might be worth a laugh
  10. ESPN has their Daily Dime Live thing going on, and Chris Sheridan keeps saying the Knicks are a better fit for Lebron because Toney Douglas doesn't need the ball and Gallinari is a good shooter... that's essentially his whole argument for the Knicks... and then claims Noah or Deng would have to go in S/T for Bosh...
  11. PER stands for Player Efficiency Rating, not sure how it is calculated, but I'm fairly certain it includes much more than PPG of course, I could just be misinterpreting your post and you do know what PER is and were making a separate point... if so, I apologize
  12. you have got to be kidding me
  13. I love the Deng + 17 for 8 rumor, but the 17 is supposed to be going to Washington, right edit: question answered above, so I guess the hope is Deng for Pietrus + Gortat
  14. Yes it would be insanely outlandish. Besides that, you're remembering Guzan in Villa's cup runs? Do you remember Tim winning year before last's FA Cup semifinal vs United in pk's? He's a great penalty stopper himself. Wasn't aware that Howard was as well, though I should have figured as much with his athleticism. Thanks for setting me straight.
  15. maybe i'm just showing some naivete, but if they go to PKs, would it be insanely outlandish to go with Guzan, who seems to perform well when facing a PK?
  16. In all likelihood, they wouldn't have gotten the PK had he knocked in the first goal. right, hadn't thought about that
  17. and this pk would have been able to put them through if they could hold... wow
  18. decent online stream.... http://livesportscafe.co.cc/2010/06/watch-philadelphia-flyers-vs-chicago-blackhawks-game-3-live-stream/
  19. Musberger: "And security will be called here, to remove an idiot." I think that was my favorite part of the game so far
  20. Jared Allen will be able to choose how many times he goes right around Orlando Pace and sacks Cutler
  21. That was like 5 yards out of bounds. except that all he did was hold on to him...
  22. Donsay Hardeman is bad at football
  23. As good as Urlacher is, he is not the Bears' best defensive player. He is very important to their defense, but I feel that he is mroe replaceable than Polamalu. Polamalu is all over the field making plays. He will make plays in the box, then turn around and make an acrobatic pick and take it back for 6. He is an incredibly dynamic player who will be greatly missed by the Steelers. My guess is that this helps the Bears' passing game enough for them to win it, as long as Cutler has time to throw.
  24. woulda been nice if Harris wasn't allowed to shove Knox down...
  25. What happened to Juice? 1st offensive play of the game he took an option keeper down the sideline then tripped and I think they said he bruised his thigh... could probably play if he needed to, but it's Illinois State
