  1. So I know everyone already assumes that Weber is done, but I heard from a guy who was a guest of Mike Thomas at the MSU game and he says that Weber has already been told that he is done after the season. Again, not a shock given the fact that the boosters have already said they'll take care of the buyout, but thought it interesting enough to pass along.
  2. Eastern Illinois University has both Shannahan and Sean Payton (and Brad Childress would make 3 if he ever gets another job)
  3. anybody else feel like Larivee is getting a bit too excited on plays that are merely decent to good?
  4. That penalty needs to be taken out of the rulebook... if you can dive at everyone else's legs you should get to dive at the QB's legs too, especially if he just barely got the ball off before he got hit
  5. C'mon Briggs, at least make it worth it
  6. pleasepleasepleasepleaseplease
  7. I feel sick... thank goodness the Bears don't play tomorrow, or they would surely lose and Cutler and Forte would probably both suffer career ending injuries
  8. what a terrible job to not review that "interception". that was a heinous mistake
  9. I think he's been too hesitant today
  10. LeShoure isn't the kind of guy who'll make anyone say "wow" but he catches the ball very well, runs hard and makes good cuts, and though i'm no expert on this, I would certainly call him a willing blocker.... I would have loved to have him on the Bears to back up Forte and be the guy around the goal line... not a huge guy but someone I think would find a way to get in the end zone I like Leshoure, but I wouldn't give up that much unless I thought I was getting a premiere tailback who can make a huge impact. I don't think that RB exists in this draft be it Ingram or Leshoure. true, hadn't considered what they gave up

  12. Titus Young looks a little off
  13. get Mark Ingram off the stage and let them announce Carimi to the Bears
  14. no way New England picks another lineman, right? Please no trade down here, let the Bears get Carimi edit: crap edit again: glad it was the Saints and they took Ingram!
  15. so I'm listening to EPSN Radio online, and it has made me realize how much I hate people saying "_____ Nation" I heard one of the Baylor guys say "Baylor Nation" and then Cameron Jordan just talked about "Who Dat Nation" I think this has become my biggest annoyance about sports
  16. he'll probably prove to be a solid tackle for the Patriots... also, Nate Solder is white?
  17. What I like about all these QBs going early is that it will hopefully allow a better player to go to Chicago at 29
  18. Lions not overthinking it and just take a guy who'll produce... gonna have a very strong D-Line
  19. that's a very good move for the Falcons
  20. the only reasoning i can come up with for the kickoff thing is that with the guys getting up a full head of steam like they do and crashing into one another, the big collisions seem more violent than others
  21. Wilbon has an article on ESPN.com in which he mentions Illinois as not deserving of their bid (aloong with VCU, UAB, and USC) but makes no mention of Clemson... while I agree that the results haven't been great, they certianly belong
  22. I don't think Illinois avoids the 8-9 seed. probably not
  23. I hope Illinois gets a 10-12 seed... avoid the 8/9 games and they could catch lightning in a bottle for a couple games and upset a team or two... and anyone from the 3-6 lines is a beatable team this year... And yes, I realize it is sad that the program has come to this, fans hoping for a couple upsets to make the Sweet 16
  24. I missed it. What happened? Richmond slapped the backboard after an alley-oop
