Ugh. I have no problem with the players getting more of the pie, but they shouldn't be [expletive] over the amateurs to do it. The new CBA and now this are a [expletive] joke. Bud is really helping the small market teams, isn't he? Sheesh. Seriously, it's like he's telling them they have to have everything go right at the same time to have a chance, or extend their potential stars as soon as they're up in the bigs. -

I feel like Houston may opt to think long-term rebuilding and go with Frazier if he continues to play like he has since they took a HS player last year with Correa and figure maybe they can bring the two along and have two big building blocks in their lineup for years to come rather than take a guy like Appel who could be ready in less than 2 years and waste some good, cheap years on a really bad team. -

Saw that, was definitely surprised. I guess he figures he's been banged up enough already and it wasn't going to get much easier as he got older and decided to take his millions and go while he's still in relatively good health. Can't blame the guy. -
and game over because Smith gets to crash into Paul and get the rebound edit: not that they were going to come back anyway, but I think that put the end to it for sure

I wonder if now that the streak is over, they might rest some guys with more borderline injuries. You obviously don't want to punt any games, but if you can rest Hossa or someone who is banged up but could still play, would you do it against a team like Columbus?
