  1. Of course, the ball still hits Jeffrey in the chest...
  2. Shields definitely interfered on that one
  3. Peppers only took one step after the pass... another blown call
  4. Johnson Vitters Underwood
  5. I went Johnson, Villanueva, Maples I think that Johnson can move quickly through the system and I feel that the biggest reason for his lack of hype last year was the injury he had but now seems to be over. Villanueva looks to be a good defensive 3B with at least decent power and no huge holes in his game that I am aware of. Maples is all about upside. If he can stay healthy and rack up some innings I am optimistic about his chances of being a good #3 or #2 given the expectations and evaluations we've seen from those who cover this sort of thing
  6. and fake rally over
  7. wonder if that's legit or covering up a possible concussion
  8. conceding the game I guess
  9. good grief we need a real slot receiver
  10. 6. Paniagua 7. Jackson 8. Johnson
  11. The teammate killed was also a teammate at the U of I... what a said situation. One life lost and another ruined
  12. I voted for Almora mostly because of the fact that his floor seems to be so high as well as a pretty good ceiling. While it would be great obviously to see him walk more, I think he has all the tools to put together a long career
  13. one angle it looked a little like he was juggling it but it won't get overturned... terrible defense to end the game
  14. I'd think neck injury more so than concussion... stinger or something
  15. Why the heck is he bringing that out?
  16. They lost to Bryant. Not even Kobe Bryant, just Bryant. I suppose that does explain it, thanks
  17. The premise though, if it's the article I'm thinking of, truly looks at it as most valuable player, and there is a good argument to be made that without Jay, the Bears would be near the bottom of the league because the offense would be so dreadful without him running it due to such poor line play and Campbell (or McCown or whomever) being generally terrible. Now, it's not voted on as if it's most valuable but rather best statistics by a QB unless someone else has an historic season, but the idea of Jay truly being the most valuable has merit.
  18. Is BC really so bad that everyone is picking PSU without Tim Frazier? I was under the impression that they're garbage without him... so BC must be beyond bad
  19. after dating for only a couple months
  20. Collinsworth making a big deal about the Texans defense and ignoring the fact that they looked so good because of an illegal hit on Cutler and because Kellen Davis and Michael Bush couldn't hold on to the ball early
  21. about time they called one...
  22. another DPI ignored
