  1. He deserved it after losing game 7 to a team that played Marquis Teague at the point and Daequan Cook at the 2 in non-garbage time minutes
  2. Kane just sees the ice so well
  3. the Russian mob may make Joe Johnson disappear
  4. What a flop by Evans... terrible call that could cost the Bulls
  5. "You're getting your hands on a lot of balls. Squeeze it."
  6. Can you imagine what this thread would look like if Deng had played after getting a spinal tap?
  7. Ertz, Hunter, and Brown are the 3 I find most intriguing... Wouldn't be surprised in the least if they're all 3 gone though... I think Brown would be the most likely pick when considering who might be there and who the Bears might want
  8. Floyd is going to kill us in the division for the next 10 years now
  9. I don't like this pick with Floyd still out there... unless he ends up playing LT this seems like a bad pick at first blush... though I guess it does help that they're addressing the o-line
  10. Brett posted this over at BN http://www.bleachernation.com/2013/04/24/dale-sveum-gets-an-in-person-vote-of-confidence-from-the-front-office-and-other-bullets/ Hoyer doesn't seem concerned about Sveum's job security
  11. Marcus Smart announced he's returning to school. Dumb, I don't care how much you love college he's guaranteed to go top 5 and probably top 3, you don't pass up that money. Especially since next years draft is looking like it could be really strong and he can really only fall But assuming he doesn't injure himself, which of course is no guarantee, falling to the late lottery could put him in a better position to succeed as a pro because he' could end up with a better supporting cast. So maybe he ends up in like Utah or somewhere instead of New Orleans or Phoenix
  12. 2 stroke penalty
  13. Boy, he has to go doesn't he? His stock can't get much higher. I disagree. I think he ought to stay and prove he can actually be an efficient and be a true point guard. I think that by taking over for Siva and improving his shot selection and efficiency he could make a lot of progress up the draft board. I think he's a round 2 guy at this point.
  14. glad Pressey won't be back at Mizzou... maybe the Illini can win the Braggin' Rights game again
  15. well, in their favor is the fact that he would only have a team full of "his guys" for the last couple of years there
  16. Walt's latest mock has the Bears getting Warmack at 20, Arthur Brown in R2 and Marquise Goodwin in R4. I noticed he had Tyrann Mathieu going right after Goodwin. Would he be a guy you'd want the Bears to look at? I feel like he could step in at the nickel and make plays... Small guy but a good playmaker and not afraid to put his head in there and make tackles
  17. he expects it, but i don't i don't think I agree with that....even if all 4 left, UM has three 4 star prospects coming into to replace Burke, Hardaway and Robinson. Personally I don't think McGary leaves. Robinson shouldn't leave but he will. McGary probably won't leave, but the other 3 seem to be as good as gone. And I don't care how many stars a player has, he's not going to come in and come close to replicating what Trey Burke did this year... I think Michigan will be a top 25 team again next year, but let's get real, Trey Burke was so vital to this team and they won't be the same next year.
  18. Goodness that guy has some insane power
  19. seriously, if he plays at the base Simmons is out easily... great throw by Castillo
  20. http://chicago.cbslocal.com/2013/04/03/bernstein-alford-already-lying-at-ucla/ Bernstein really doesn't like Alford, huh? edit: not that I think he's wrong to dislike him
  21. 18. Baez 30. Almora 35. Soler 98. Vizcaino 129. Vogelbach 155. Brett Jackson 165. Candelario 44. Chris Archer 76. HJ Lee
  22. I don't think they rate Pirri. Danault is the guy they have their eyes on as 2C. gotcha, thanks for the info!
  23. maybe a dumb question, but what does Pirri project as, long-term? Is he a 2nd line center in a couple years? Or is he more like Kruger and Shaw and should be a 3rd/4th line guy ideally?
  24. Goodwon has declared for the draft. WCS is coming back as is Wiltjer at this point. No word on Noel or Poythress. Noel will surely declare and go top 3, probably 1st. Poythress seems likely to go as well... Will Derek Willis make it to campus? Or will he see the writing on the wall and go somewhere else?
