If a bartender keeps serving a drunk guy shots all night and that guy leaves the bar and kills himself in his car, it doesn't matter if the bartender intended for him to die. Whether the bartender was just helping the guy have a good time or was purposely putting the guy in harm's way, the result is the same: dead drunk guy. All that said, I understand that everyone (including me) is angry and horrified and want answers. There's nothing wrong with questioning Paterno's intentions....I'd like to know myself.
