    I don't think they're talking about Virginia playing flawlessly. No, but Virginia would have lost to pretty much any other team having played as poorly as they did. They really got the crap beat out of them and should have lost, if not for PSU's kicker missing 4 FG's and an XP

    ESPN needs to quit saying that this was "a great win for Virginia" [expletive] you. No it wasn't. They turned the ball over 4 times, they got skunked on offense. They got sacked a ton of times. They were outplayed in every single aspect outside of the kicking game. This wasn't a great win, it was a gift.

Maybe baseball players have better taste than I'd expect for model-daters I thought so too. I was at a spring training game in Florida several years back and we sat right in front of the Blue Jays' wives section. They all looked like they were smuggling volleyballs under their shirts

    Heard an interview today where they said that if Armstrong doesn't go to arbitration, it's akin to admitting guilt. That said, almost no one wins in arbitration anyways, so it's a lose-lose situation

    My first game ever was at the Vet to see Tom Seaver pitch. Must've been in '78 or '79. I barely remember it at all

    May of 1993. Reds scored 1 in the top of the 1st. Cubs scored 2 in the bottom of the 9th. It was a pleasant day (upper 70's) so I wore shorts and a tee shirt, but our seats were in the shade, where it was windy and cold.
