I think everybody is aware. If they were then they shouldn't expect them to go away. I just don't see what the Cubs get out of it. No one goes to the games or tunes into the broadcast for the stretch, so why give a free media junket stop for every movie star and musician? -
I think the perception that he doesn't care to play is important. Frankly speaking, he's being a terrible teammate right now. I wonder if any free agents will want to play with him.

I'm amazed by the fact that at least not one journalist/media person hasn't been crucifying him, he seemingly is getting a pass by everyone. [expletive], Dwight took more heat this year for trying to play while he was still injured and work his way through it.
