Fair enough, but over a large sample size, any isoD over .100 is pretty great, no matter how flawed the metric. Valbuena's .117 is sexy (as is his 16 BB/17 K ratio) Conversely, Castro's .024 is ugly as sin
He wasn't. That's some guy named Tom Thobodeau. http://www.nba.com/2013/news/05/08/george-karl-denver-nuggets-named-coach-of-the-year-2013/ Even worse, as that means Thibs got no votes at all!
In a perfect world, a player who is medically cleared to play but refuses to do so would be suspended without pay due to breach of contract. Of course that would never happen to a star player in any league, so....
I think everybody is aware. If they were then they shouldn't expect them to go away. I just don't see what the Cubs get out of it. No one goes to the games or tunes into the broadcast for the stretch, so why give a free media junket stop for every movie star and musician?
I think the perception that he doesn't care to play is important. Frankly speaking, he's being a terrible teammate right now. I wonder if any free agents will want to play with him.
I'm amazed by the fact that at least not one journalist/media person hasn't been crucifying him, he seemingly is getting a pass by everyone. [expletive], Dwight took more heat this year for trying to play while he was still injured and work his way through it. He's been getting killed here, but how the trolls in the Chicago media have held back is beyond me
