    I'm designing a show that has technical rehearsals this weekend. I might be able to see most of Game 1, but I'm pretty sure we're working late on Saturday. And it's a show I'm not really thrilled about and kind of regret signing on to, but now it's too late to back out

Some derided the OP for it, but the thread is still open and 3 pages long and the entire first page is fat shaming his girlfriend/wife. I won't link to it but its right there on their main board's front page. I now feel bad for having read that

    You realize that about 1/3 of the dudes in training camp won't be on the team and nobody knows who they are right? Yeah, but I wouldn't recognize Bobby Portis or Doug McDermott if he walked up and shook my hand either

    Facebook had a gallery of all the player pics and I couldn't have named you 1/3 of them just from the photo. I watched the Bulls last year like I watched the 2013 and 2014 Cubs (ie barely ever)

    So Bryant Gumbel is the worst Real Sports had a pretty good segment on PitchFX and the inaccuracy of human umps. It showed opinions from the software engineers, ex-umps, ex-players, etc. At the end of the segment, Gumbel comes back and goes on a min-rant about how much he hated the segment, how computers and replay should be out of all sports, and how the "integrity of the game" and the "human element" is all that matters, even in the face of gross inaccuracy
