If tomorrow it came out and then 10 years later they died, I'm sure one of the topics discussed upon their death would be the negative sides of their lives. Kirby has not been worth talking about for quite some time. Unfortunately this has been the first time in a while his name was discussed, and people are rehashing what they remember of him. When Steve Garvey dies, people aren't going to just talk about the positive. but if people want to remember him for being a great ballplayer, who cares about the rest? Does it make him a worse player? Does it tarnish his HoF plaque?
