    Howry blew Marshall's win. :x Dusty had a hand in it. Marshall never should have started this inning to begin with. And although its their job, you're always playing with fire when you needlessly have the Bpers inherit runners. Dusty had more than a hand in this lose. He has managed horribly tonight. no, it's just bad breaks and injuries

    Oh well, at least they have the Lions....err uhh the Tigers I don't particularly like the Heat, but a Pistons loss means we finally break the 20 year/5 team championship nonsense in the NBA.

    That's not a lack of intelligence. That's laziness. My wife's family are all hispanic immigrants, and some of them literally don't speak English AT ALL (despite living in the country for 30+ years). If you're a housewife who always speaks Spanish at home with the family.... Call it laziness, then. There's no excuse for it, in my opinion. I'm not excusing it, just explaining it :wink:

    Mariners SHOULD HAVE KNOWN about Beltre being a "contract yr" kind of player. Yet, they still grossly overpaid for Beltre. Now Sexson, his season is a surprise. My HR Derby team agrees.

    To get back on the thread topic, I can't say I watched too many Sox games when Guillen played. I certainly remember him, but mostly as a #9 hitter with bad numbers. I'm pretty sure he was hired for his ties to the team and his reputation among the players he has coached.

I'm not sure the implication of his sexual orientation would have anything to do with intelligence anyways. But that's a can of worms we don't want to open again, right?
