    Why? No one running the MLB today was involved in any way with the enforcement of segregation via the Negro Leagues. I used to volunteer at a Vets Home and if there was ever a group of Americans that had more animosity toward another group of people, it'd probably be the Pacific veterans of WWII. However, in their old age most of them have lightened up a good deal and it was rare to find a veteran who still held grudges. i wouldn't be opposed to MLB offering it, but I wouldn't be surprised if some turned them down, that's all I'm saying. Perhaps MLB should start by letting Rose in the HoF and work down from there

    seems about 60 years too late. Not sure how they would react to it. If I were a living Negro Leaguer, I might be inclined to tell MLB to piss off.

    Does Penn St play Wisconsin? If so where? I like Penn St this year. I see the Big Ten coming down to Michigan, PSU and Wisconsin. I think Wisconsin will win in the end. they play Wisconsin October 13th at home

    i don't think it's out of the realm of possibility that Penn State goes 10-2 and is in the running for a BCS game. Michigan on the road is gonna be a killer (just can't beat that team anywhere). Should sweep the OOC and have OSU at home

    During today's (Sunday's) post-game interview, Lee sounded like it would be a few weeks before his appeal is heard, so there is zero chance he misses this series (or the Brewers)

    while the cliche says that you don't win the division in April/May, I believe that the Cubs may have lost the division when Milwaukee went 10-20 and GAINED GROUND on the Cubs.
