For the record, until recently, I had nothing against you. I barely noticed your posts, other than the frequency with which they pop up. In light of this, I have no idea what your deal is.     does anyone else get annoyed that partial trades get leaked and published? I mean, if someone in one of the organizations is saying "Maroth to the Cards" how can they not know what the other part of the trade is?

    I gave Barrett partial blame from the outset. Z started the argument, Barrett chose to escalate, and they both chose to get physical at the same time. I don't recall Barrett escalating anything. He gestured towards DeRosa I believe it was to ask his opinion on something after Z bitched him out and then Z slugged him. as I understand it, Z said something to the effect of "dude, think out there, you threw the ball away and it cost us a run" and Barrett pointed at the SCOREBOARD and said "dude, look how many runs/hits you've give up" and then Z punched him

    There's a 48 hour window for all trade talk, this deal went down Wednesday morning so any and all discussion revolving around the deal must cease and desist ASAP. i'm all for trade talk as long as it isn't 50 pages of repeating the same thing over and over and over again

    thanks. They are all on the Spikes, so just curious what the team was getting. Tony Watson made his pro debut last night, pitching 5 innings with no hits, one walk and nine K's. Pretty impressive

    I caught a Sammy foul ball...........in the last row of the upper deck at Wrigley betwen home and first base. He hit a screaming line drive off the end of his bat that would have broken my ribs had I not moved. Okay, so I didn't "catch" it....It hit my seat and I picked it up. Still, about the least likely place to catch a foul ball in Wrigley

    Wow, Buerhle is having a nice year. I was hoping he would be traded to Atlanta by now. No such luck. So, a lefty on the mound. My guess is we see something like this: 1. Soriano LF 2. Pagan CF 3. Lee 1B 4. Ramirez DH 5. Floyd RF 6. DeRosa 3B 7. Theriot 2B 8. Bowen C 9. Izturis SS

    What does him being on a horrible team have to do with whether or not he can still hit HR's? It doesn't effect whether he can or can't hit HR, it just means the HR's are meaningless in the scope of a team game. As a Cubs fan, you should know all about Sammy hitting 50 HR for hopelessly horrible teams
