ok, being a NC doesn't equal greatness. of course not. But he wasn't the 12th man on those teams either. He was a 2nd team All-American, 1st team All-SEC, Final Four MVP, etc. At the end of the day, all he is (so far) is a good college player. His NBA career has yet to be written. May I remind everyone how much people (at NSBB) HATED the Tyrus Thomas pick and HATED the Luol Deng pick.

Here: Michael Jordan sucked great argument, right? no better than: B.J. Armstrong is a legend, look at his rings. right, because Noah was as important to Florida as Armstrong was to the Bulls. brilliant analogy

i'm just happy that the Bulls (unlike most of the other lottery teams) aren't looking to draft a starter. Barring any trades, Opening Day 2007 will be Hinrich/Gordon/Deng/Thomas/Wallace. A guy like Noah is an excellent bench option (considering he would probably start on a half dozen teams next year)

I can't drive, so its a fairly safe bet that I wasn't doing. You are the second person I know who can't drive...and old enough to drive. Interesting. I work with a 35 year old guy who has never had a driver's license

I don't know. I think Chad's underestimating Thomas' potential to become an offensive force. right. I think he's assuming that they would be 2 defense/rebounding first, scoring second big men on the floor at the same time. It didn't stop Skiles from playing Ben and TT together, so...

i would be shocked if the top of the order stayed as is. ESPN had a draft preview show last night showing all sorts of possiblities, including Atlanta trading the #3 and #11, Minnesota trading up, 3 and 4 way trades, etc. They also speculated that if Atlanta keeps the #3, they could take Yi, as they're realizing the amount of money a Chinese player will produce (a la Yao)
