I dont get the whole "Wrigley is a dump" thing anyway. If by "a dump" you mean it's not made out of entirely metal and plastic and doesn't feel like a hospital, then sure. But I dont know what people mean when they say it smells, i've been there plenty of times and never smelled anything foul (except maybe some people sitting next to me). My only complaint about wrigley is the giant piss-trough in the bathroom. Where is this piss trough? I've been to Wrigley many times but never have seen the trough. Please don't cite that stupid internet video --- I think that was at a NASCAR race :) upper deck, way down the right field line
That was a thoroughly satisfying game to be in attendance for. Lilly was ON, the team strung together hits.....shoot, even Jock got a double. Warning track power everywhere though. Lee, Ramirez, Hill....nothing was going out last night
in the remote chance that he would be traded, yes. More importantly, does he still have the range to play SS? He seems a lot bigger (and likely less mobile) since moving to 3B and a hurt hammy isn't going to help him transition back to SS. I think it would take an off-season for him to really work on getting back into the kind of shape needed to be an above average SS again. some say he's still a better SS than Jeter
hooray for Pirates series! I actually get to watch all the games (on FSN Pittsburgh, but still). I'll be at the game tomorrow, and am happy to be seeing Lilly instead of Marquis
real sprains suck. the term "sprain" gets thrown out a lot with ankles when the injury is really more of a twist or a strain. I sprained the top of my left foot back in '03 (entire foot turned black and blue, etc.) and it still hurts now and again (i can feel it right now, actually). ligament and tendon injuries suck bad
