    Yeah, I think they chose Fox because he's the best option of people that could handle 1B, and then send him back when Dempster comes off the DL. It's more likely they'll send Gallagher down tomorrow when Dempster is activated' otherwise they'd have 13 pitchers. I think a more likely scenerio is that Fox stays up this weekend while Lee is serving his suspension, then when Lee returns next Tuesday Fox goes back down and Cedeno comes up. But with just a few games, couldn't they cover 1B in house? Why wait on Cedeno? Putting DeRosa at 1B leaves no backup 2B, SS, or 3B on the bench. so? if you need to, you move derosa to one of those positions mid-game and bring in ward or whoever to play 1B

    i like MLB Baseball ©1979 for Intellivision - every batter is right handed - every batter is exactly the same - not stats except the score - no fly balls...you either hit it out or it's a ground ball. you have to get the guy out at first (which you can from LF if it's hit hard enough)

    This horse has been beaten to death and beyond. The reason is that following a discussion on a topic is easier if the discussion is in a single thread rather than fragments spread out across multiple threads. yes, but a merged thread is better than a locked one (esp. if there is no link in the locked thread to the one where the majority of the conversation is happening)

    accuweather.com (which I trust way more than weather.com*) says T-storms at 5pm moving towards mostly cloudy by the 6 o'clock hour * prior to my trip to Europe this past April, weather.com said it would rain 5 of the 7 days, while accuweather.com said it wouldn't rain at all. We barely saw a cloud the entire trip
