    nothing is sacred anymore. there are naming rights on the Rose Bowl, i'm sure there will be on the Olympics, etc. I agree about the Giants stadium, but that is simply a matter of companies getting bought by other companies (Pac Bell by AT&T, etc., whatever or Bank One getting bought by Chase)

    i bet his CD collection is sorted by first name too. Oh, and iTunes puts everyone's name as, for example, "Johnny Cash" instead of "Cash, Johnny", forcing me to rename everything I import or buy :evil:

    Heck, some players get 6 years. Jon Beutjer got about 9. Luke Recker like 14. Re: WVU: That doesn't even seem legal. No it doesn't but I'm sure some schools football players don't even have textbooks. Or even have to take tests. http://www.osu.edu/images/osu_logo.png I'm surprised that the NCAA doesn't send an employee to a school to look if they are skirting rules in this regard. Have some guy around 22 or so pose as a student and observe what's going on regarding the student athletes. they know full well what's going on. they only come down on schools when the public catches wind of it

    why would he feel any obligation not to go to the team he feels he fits best? why is it classless to go elsewhere in the division? It's a slap in the face to the Cubs fans that idolized him. You know the people that paid for the tickets, bought his jersey, etc. The city of Chicago and Cubs fans made him rich - and we've been waiting (and paying) for a long time for him to get healthy. If he wanted to repay a little bit of what he's been given by all of us he could have taken a two-year incentive laden deal. How about a little loyalty? If he comes back in the 2nd half of 08 pitching for another team in the same division it only magnifies things. Take your smug expressions and get out of town Mark. was it a slap in the face when Fernando Vina left Milwaukee for St. Louis. Or Burnitz signed with the Cubs after years with the Brewers? seriously, FTH are you talking about?
