    Supply and demand. Minor league tickets cost more than $10. Really? I got front row seats next to scouts for $8 at Rancho Cucamonga. That's how much it costs for tickets to sit in the outfield grass in the Texas League. They are usually around $18. Don't even get the option for front row, although last week Nolan Ryan was sitting right in front of me in the front row. I guess that's why. On the flip side, Rancho is only high-A and I'm sure you have to keep low prices to attract Angelenos. Tampa Yankees tickets I think are less than $8 and when you leave they usually give you buy one get one free coupons for the next game. Even with that there are hardly any fans in the stands for weekday games. I usually only go when they are playing Daytona. but the Yankee spring training games are like $20 or $30

    which ones? i haven't noticed a growing trend. I think only 3 or 4 of the Big 10 stadiums are grass at this point. Michigan, Illinois and OSU have all gone artificial in the past several years

    here's the deal, Astros: no matter where you play, it will be a Cubs home game. Cubs fans will show up in droves to any stadium you decide to have this series. so suck it up and play

    They were on the B team actually. I mean, Rickey played CF and LF. Was he a bigger D-bag than Cobb or Bonds? Hells no. Perhaps Jose could challenge Reggie in RF though. Albert Belle can DH. I don't know about Thurman Munson's past too much, but is he a bigger D-bag than AJ Pirezalbphabet?

    the NLDS won't start until mid-October at this point. It's not like these are the only rained out games in the next couple of weeks
