That would make it Purdue ball. incorrect. the ball would have to go off of an inbounds illinois player and then go out in order to maintain possession. since McCamey was out of bounds, hitting him with the ball was no different than hitting the floor, the hoop, a cheerleader, etc.

my interpretation was that the purdue player and illinois player's momentum was carrying them both out of bounds. the purdue player was in bounds when he jumped, but by the time he knocked it off of McCamey, Mccamey was over the line.

the reason that play was Illinois ball was because McCamey was out of bounds when he threw the ball off of him. you can't do the "jump and bounce it off the other team to retain possession" thing if the other team's player is also out of bounds

yeah, he wants to be a Cub, but the Cubs apparently have shown little interest How on Earth did you come to that conclusion on the basis of the blurb you quoted? Honestly, man.... are you asking me? if so, it's not based on that quoted blurb, but on other sources I've read. -
With the strength of the Big Ten this year its probably 5. In last year's Big Ten its probably 8. This year's PSU team is better than last year's though. Guess we'll have to wait and see. 5-13 wouldn't shock me though....Penn State just can't recruit the same level of talent as MSU/Purdue/etc., and there's only so much coaching can do
