  1. DL coach for 10 years in Tampa, so that's right up Lovie's alley
  2. looks like he was a DL Coach/Assistant Head Coach at every level
  3. usually it's about a 7 coin flip swing for a home team but the game was on a neutral field, so it really came down to whether Meph carried the one or not
  4. LOL, Flea Flicker
  5. I don't feel bad about that PSU loss at all. Close loss on the road when your (and the Big 10) leading score finishes with just 6 points? That was a game PSU probably would have won at home. PSU is going to give a lot of teams fits this year
  6. No, the reason they lost was struggles on offense. Mike Johnson, the right tackle shifted to left tackle and was knocked out of the game in the first ten minutes due to injury. Alabama's offensive line was down to their third and fourth stringe tackles and it showed. They had no running game and were sacked nine times. Their defense kept them in the game the last three quarters. Their offense wasn't able to come back. No Andre Smith had a huge impact on the game's outcome. JPW was harassed all night, sacked eight or nine times and they had no running game. I understand their offense struggled, but their vaunted SEC defense got torched in the 1st quarter.
  7. Penn State is going to struggle unless they heat up from 3. They just can't stop big men
  8. unless Andre Smith was playing defense too, he wasn't the reason they lost
  9. i hate the 4:30/8pm Saturday wild card schedule. what am I supposed to do all day?
  10. i'm not clicking unless Marissa Miller is in it somewhere
  11. vance's "all emoticon" night is very entertaining
  12. hmmmm...no RedFlash homer trash talk?
  13. Snead is a first rounder in 2010 and nearly as good as Marc Sanchez Because Mark Sanchez has never thrown an interception. Snead's having a good game. I was just poking fun at a clearly absent Meph. carry on
  14. Good call by the voters. Manning flew under the radar until the last couple weeks because the Colts started 3-4 but he was just amazing over the last few weeks. Yeah, the only reason that team is in the playoffs is Peyton Manning. It's a pretty weak safe pick. should've been Paul Pierce
  15. he's like 107 years old
  16. I can remember when Pat wasn't really terrible, so I find it hard to be amused at his mistakes too, it's like the worst possible "bad announcer" scenario. You can? Can you name the date? It had to be late 80's at least. Summerall and Madden were just the worst
  17. No, it really wasn't. It's your constant accusation that Reinsdorf refused to pay anyone any money and always goes for the cheapest option. And there is plenty evidence to support that. http://www.forbes.com/lists/2008/32/nba08_NBA-Team-Valuations_Income.html Despite being the most profitable team in the NBA, they continue to operate as a small market team. It is common knowledge the Bulls refuse to pay the luxury tax. Pau Gasol is not here for that reason. if it's "common knowledge", give a link. there must be tons of websites that say it's true

  19. While talent rules in the NBA, I'd say you need some semblance of a head coach to be competitive. VDN is a complete joke. D'Antoni would have been so great for this club. Derrick Rose #'s would be even better than they are now, this team would be fun as well to watch and it would have helped in attracting FA's. Yes, he eventually would have worn out his time, but would have brought this team a point were they are ready to contend. The fact he isn't coaching this team is a complete and utter joke. Thanks Reinsdorf and Pax..again. Vinny is a joke. Lots of us said this when he was first hired too. I don't understand why Pax did this. It doesn't take much basketball knowledge to see that a guy with no coaching experience is not the right choice. I have little basketball expertise. How come I could see this and Pax couldn't? I'm just asking because that move seemed dumb at the time, and even dumber now. Even if Vinny somehow finds his coaching voice now, it will still have been a bad move because we've now lost time. It was a pure financial move, so I shouldn't be blaming Paxson for this one. The Bulls head coaching search was 100% Reindsdorf and after he decided he didn't want to ruin his relationship with Doug Collins....he went straight for the budget buy. i love all of your insider information. so awesome to have Reinsdorf's confidant on the board here for us WTF ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT! http://sports.espn.go.com/espn/print?id=3430388&type=story that wasn't the point I was contending
  20. What did he do? complete dead air as Vinateri's game winning FG split the uprights http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jf0XdlYyfmg

  23. Summerall blew the end of the Rams/Patriots Super Bowl and has never been good since
  24. I was surprised how bad PSU was getting gashed in the passing game. Sanchez 80% and 400 yards? PSU stopped the run really well but the passing defense just couldnt hold up. I thought PSU offense did pretty well minus the mistakes. They threw for twice as many yards as USC gives up on average. I didnt have them winning but i didnt have them getting gashed through the air like Michigan does agains USC, that was a surprise. the secondary was not well prepared at all. It's pretty clear that had PSU beaten Iowa that they'd have been destroyed by Oklahoma's passing game as well
