  1. per Rotoworld: His fetish for LRLRLR lineups is ridiculous when it results in GEOVANY SOTO batting 7th. SEVENTH? For crap's sake, Lou...
  2. yeah hopefully the tourney committee realizes that the score is a reflection of an average-shooting team just having a night that they shot the lights out (especially from deep) and not a reflection of penn st playing poorly. you're assuming the committee looks at anything but the final score at this point.
  3. I expected to lose, but not to be completely uncompetitive
  4. mercy rule please
  5. Purdue just hit their 462nd 3 pointer
  6. tisdale is easily the overall #1. I just hope he doesn't declare after this year. you can't teach length
  7. LOL. Here I thought "there's no way Purdue can shoot as well in the 2nd half as they did in the 1st." Yeah, whoops.
  8. I can't even be mad about this PSU/Purdue game. Every junk, contested shot Purdue is throwing up there is dropping. Yeah, Penn State is giving up too many easy layups, but that's what happens when you have to guard 25 feet from the basket to try (and fail) to guard the 3 point shot
  9. rationale is "payback for starting your own Network"
  10. Like a non-glazed donut. With 1950s hair cuts. to be fair, the guys is broadcasting 10 games in 4 days
  11. so.... MSU vs. MINN OSU vs. WIS ILL vs. MICH PUR vs. PSU who wins tomorrow?
  12. Well let me ask you...what is the Big 10 pecking order at this point? I am thinking.... MSU Illinois Purdue Wisconsin Ohio State Michigan Minnesota Penn State I personally believe all 8 should be in...but if the committee decides that the Big Ten doesn't deserve 8 teams, its pretty clear that Penn State is the team that as of right now is the team that's out. I think PSU should be in though, I think they have the potential to make a run in the NCAAs. what are Minnesota's big wins?
  13. this dumbass on ESPN is saying "PSU is definitely NOT in the tourney". His reasoning? Loss to Temple and they beat Purdue without Hummel. No mention of the win at MSU. No mention of the Illinois sweep. He basically discredited their 10-8 conference record (because he clearly hates the Big Ten)
  14. I was quoting stats from the last 9 starts of 2003, not the last 3. Reading comprehension is your friend. Look at some of those pitch counts. You can't tell me that didn't play a significant factor in his arm troubles. But Meph said it didn't (with no data to back it up), so it must be true
  15. if Penn State loses to Indiana after amassing a 20 point lead in the 2nd half, they should fire everyone Villanova almost did it earlier lol. Indiana isn't exactly Marquette
  16. if Penn State loses to Indiana after amassing a 20 point lead in the 2nd half, they should fire everyone
  17. I keep hearing that PSU is a "last four in", but I won't believe it until I hear them named on Sunday
  18. he looked fine when he came back. he got stepped on, that's all. that last play in the Marquette/Nova game was unbelievably bad.
  19. nice to see that Penn State is focused here. With any hope, they'll build a big enough lead to rest Battle/Pringle/Cornley some in the 2nd half
  20. Battle hurt, but Pringle/Cornley are more than making up for it
  21. ESPN can take their "live look-in" and shove it
  22. ah, nuts. I always clicked that logo to get back to the message board index.
  23. Gordon and Rose both shot like Howry too. Can't pin that loss entirely on Tyrus
