    It's because it's not enough that a famous man got murdered. They have to find every angle, and a big angle is "rick black man cheats on wife with at least one (maybe more) women, oh and he was also DRUNK." Basically, they want to say "he deserved it" but can't, so they intimate it with every "shocking new development"

    Cubs stand pat, but whatever move another team makes that wins them the World Series will be awkwardly and less successfully aped by Hendry this off season

    it's because his batting order is often "by position" and not "by player", so once Fukudome got moved to the lead off spot, anyone else playing CF now hits lead off, even if Fuku is also in the lineup

    Aramis is the only one of those 3 that would get you anything remotely "juicy"

    Further evidence that Lou is losing it! He gives the worst daily press reports I've ever seen. When they show him during the broadcasts he looks like he's totally out of it.....he can barely string a sentence together

    Nobody wants Quentin Richardson. He was just traded (AGAIN), this time to the Timberwolves. That's his 4th team so far this off season. Note to Q: Don't look into any real estate until Opening Night.

    that's pretty average. Wrigley has (I believe) the longest dimensions down the lines in baseball

    Halladay can't play CF, SS or 1B or bat cleanup, so.... Yeah, but it's only a matter of time when Beltran and Reyes are coming back, and they can find a decent enough bat to play 1B if Delgado is out longer. The Mets are 9 games out and none of those hitters are coming back soon. Halladay isn't going to erase that deficit by himself. It's only worth if for the Mets if they signed him to an extension

    if they get Halladay, they will be repeat champions. That's an awfully positive statement. Nobody "will" be anything in a baseball playoff setup. I like Boston over Philly for sure with their pitching

    Unless the weather heats up a lot in August, Wrigley will get "park factored" as a pitcher's park this year. Len mentioned that in the 40ish home games this year, the wind has only blown out 10 times
