  1. I've tempered my enthusiasm by reminding myself that Cutler could very well be the Milton Bradley of football this year.
  2. as a nickname for wrigley23? I like it
  3. 1. Bradley 2. Theriot 3. Lee 4. Fox 5. Fukudome 6. Soriano 7. Soto 8. Fontenot
  4. perhaps Sam Fuld is wearing the hat Lou kicked.....
  5. Which means AI to the Bulls makes absolutely NO SENSE at all. As for SG I think I much rather see Hinrich and Salmons split time there (depending on matchup) instead of bringing in some crappy or over-the-hill SG that doesn't help the Bulls. Yeah, I guess if we think Salmons can guard other teams' 2's then he'll be there, as the roster is awfully forward heavy right now
  6. Bulls HAVE to sign or trade for a SG though, right? IF Gordon is gone, the only SG's listed on the roster are Lindsey Hunter (lol), Demarcus Nelson and Anthony Roberson. How would AI fit? He's 6' tall in shoes, so he isn't going to guard other teams' SG's, and he isn't going to displace Rose. I can't imagine he'd be happy coming off the bench.
  7. I heard they've not only named Fuld an All-Star starter, but they've already given him the NL MVP
  8. no, I'm not pining for Aardsma (nor did I lament him being traded). all I'm saying is that in hindsight, one is better than the other, that's all. Now we have neither, so time to explore other options
  9. Guess you haven't paid much attention to him this year Oh, come on man. We're all capable of looking his stats up. We all know what he's doing this year. Two things though...I'm still not going to lose sleep over trading him, and if you say you thought he'd even have one decent season in the future, you're a liar. I'm not losing sleep either, but let's not pretend the trade was a wash
  10. Guess you haven't paid much attention to him this year
  11. I don't know who Jon Greenberg is, but no Jon, just no http://espn.go.com/chicago/story?columnist=greenberg_jon&id=4302520
  12. doesn't look like many of us are going to be close on anything.
  13. RIP Neal Cotts. You''ll always have whatever that year for the White Sox was
  14. Heilman on a mission to raise his WHIP, I see
  15. Lakers? Interesting. Local paper was saying LeBron was in L.A. trying to recruit him to the Cavs
  16. sorry, the greatest thread was the Nomar thread on 7/31/04
  17. not surprising. Columbus is losing money every year on their stadium lease
