  1. So, I guess you're spot starting for New Era. Let's get a new win streak here (if two straight is considered a win streak). I think this game will really help Lou decide if Gallagher is here to stay in the rotation when/if Hill comes back. Personally, I think he should be ahead of Marquis despite what happens tommorow, but I'm not sure Lou thinks that. However, if Gallagher has a quality start here, the Cubs can't help but keep him as a starter.
  2. Haha, I think the name "NotSoSober" fits your post well. What do you mean by saying you weren't clear with it? Anyway, if you want to host it, zshare is pretty good. http://zshare.net/
  3. Haha, I love the five straight posts with the same quote, in the same minute.
  4. oh no you didnt. :banghead: I'm watching on GameDay, and he just owned me. GameDay is so behind, I look on the forum to see what happened. He made me think we won :^o
  5. God, why does Kerry always hit batters? Well not an awful time to HBP. Force out now.
  6. Grrrr. 4-1 now, with only one out. Billingsley is done, so let's get after that bullpen next inning.
  7. Nice walk by Soto, after some ugly at bats. I think it's quiet because either many people are watching the NBA Finals or don't get CSN+
  8. Glad to see it wasn't just me. I can't help but think no no after two innings.
  9. I'm sure Cardinals and Brewers fans despise him.
  10. Rays/Red Sox brawl http://assets.espn.go.com/photo/2008/0605/mlb_a_shields_crisp_sq_300.jpg This picture is epic.
  11. I guess it would be the Rays for me. But I never have a consistent second favorite team, just whatever team is likeable, a bit of an underdog, and competitive. For example, last year it was the Indians/Rockies, and in 2006 was the Tigers. I guess you could say I'm a bandwagon fan when it comes to 2nd favorite teams. In 2004 I was rooting for Boston in the playoffs, but now I despise them, because they aren't likeable nor are they underdogs anymore.
  12. In case someone didn't hear, Pujols will miss both games due to a calf strain. Ankiel has a knee infection, so his status is unknown. There's a chance of the Cardinals losing both games today, with those aforementioned injuries and Wellemeyer and Parisi (allowed 8 runs in his last start) on the mound, but it'll probably be a split. On a side note, Bailey vs Hamels should be a good pitching matchup, with two terrific young pitchers.
  13. Soriano and Lee are going for a lot of home run swings this inning. It's Petco, guys.
  14. i thought that was richard jefferson. I remember this guy from the Red Sox no hitter last month. I was following that game on GameDay, and I remember saying to myself that Yabuta looks like an alien. Sam Cassell is another NBA comparison.
  15. Nice job by Lilly to strand essentially a lead-off double.
