  1. Doesn't belong on the list, but the comeback against the Rockies in May 2008 was definitely amazing.
  2. More like sparkle. Nah, seriously, sporcle is a pretty cool website. I waste away hours at a time there.
  3. I just went there to see if it was still dead, and it is, at least the basketball discussions are... Just take a look at the forums http://i39.tinypic.com/23m7kn4.jpg
  4. Damn you, I always click on blue text thinking it's a link. Also, I'm in.
  5. A 30-second clip of a pornographic movie cut into a Comcast broadcast of the Super Bowl in homes in and around Tucson, several Star readers said Sunday night. Several callers to the Star newsroom said that the broadcast cut into the feed with about three minutes left in the game and showed a woman unzipping a man's pants. The clip showed full frontal male nudity. http://i300.photobucket.com/albums/nn12/Mean_MaCnCheese/2dmf7yd-1.gif
  6. I guess this is kinda like the Blackhawks a few years back with the passing of Bill Wirtz.
  7. I'm Indian, and cricket is a pretty interesting sport, although I don't watch it nearly as much as baseball. It's sort of complicated at first, but once you begin to understand a little bit of it, it gets a lot simpler. Also, I agree that basketball is growing a lot faster than baseball back in India. Baseball can catch on eventually though, IMO, since the basic concept of it is similar to cricket.
  8. To be fair, the Patterson I was thinking of is actually 29. http://www.northsidebaseball.com/Forum/images/smilies/icon_wink.gif
  9. http://tampabay.rays.mlb.com/news/article.jsp?ymd=20081020&content_id=3633346&vkey=news_tb&fext=.jsp&c_id=tb Seriously? First those cartoons, and now this. I like the Rays and their players, but even when they're good, their writers still act like Tampa's a minor league team or something.

  12. I was just looking forward in the schedule, and I see the Lions opponent in their Thanksgiving game, the Titans. Probably the best team in the league versus the worst. It's very possible that the Titans will be undefeated and the Lions will be winless by the time they play. I'm looking forward to this game, it should be...interesting to watch. I'm a Bears fan, but it would be cool to see the Lions to end up with one win all season by handing Tennessee their only loss.
  13. I've been watching The Office today, and just tuned in to check the score. 5-0, wow. The Rays are even better than I thought...
  14. I'm not sure why Dice K was laughing at UNC, I found it on Google Images. Boo UNC (I live in North Carolina, but like the Illini) . Game 2 Scott Kazmir http://www.nyfuturestars.com/profile_pics/scott_kazmir.jpg against Josh Beckett http://i36.tinypic.com/dxics0.png
  15. I didn't know until about now that Friday was game 2, I thought it was game 1. Whoops.
  16. Eek, Marmol's pretty fortunate. Car crashes are bad enough for most people, but can be completely devastating for an athlete's career.
  17. Carolina Panthers for the lose. :( I think the Sunday night game will be the best one this week. Two good AFC teams who've dropped off this year, but are still quality teams. All the Monday nighters have been awesome so far, but this one could get ugly for the Browns. The Giants have been unstoppable thus far.
  18. BTW, I took out TBS in the title, as it reached the max amount of characters and I couldn't fit it in, but I'm assuming everyone knows it's on TBS.
  19. I believe so. Yes I'll be listening. I haven't ever listened to a hockey game over the radio in my life, how is it? Is hockey much of a "radio sport"?
  20. I understand what you're saying, but this series should be interesting, and I want to see the Rays win, so I'll tune in. I admit, I probably won't watch the NLCS much, but I think Red Sox-Rays should be a nice series. I don't want to watch Dodgers-Phillies, I hate both teams. I'll watch some of the games, but probably only the last few innings.
  21. Game 1 This guy (2.90 ERA, 18-3): http://mybaseballbias.com/wp-content/uploads/2007/03/dice-k.jpg goes to Tampa, FL, to face this dude (3.56 ERA, 14-8): http://www.baseballslate.com/images/james-shields-swings-and-misses.jpg I'll be watching, I kinda like the Rays. Go Tampa.
  22. I think these 3 teams underachieved, that's it.
