Not even close You're delusional. No offense to you personally. But he's not wrong. There are WORSE run franchises in pro sports....like the Oakland Raiders, Detroit Lions, New York Rangers, New York Lakers, Los Angeles Clippers, etc, etc. So the Cubs are clearly not as bad ( tho there not overly great, either) as you claim it to be, Jeff. :lol:

Eh, the White Sox aren't too bad for me. I won't be rooting for them that much, but I will if they make the ALCS or if they play the Dodgers in the WS. I don't live in Chicago, so I can stand them.

Yeah, if the Cubs come back and win this, I think they will take the next two and win the series. If they don't take this, I'm guessing we get swept.

If the Cubs lose this series, it may be time for a fire sale. Dump the vets, build up a young team, etc. Follow the Florida Marlins strategy. Just implode the team.

:? The last time my teams lost when they were supposed to win it all, at least it was respectable and in the championship game (2006 Bears, 2005 Illini). The Cubs can't even get past the first round. I'm overreacting, but it's just...sigh.

Last year, I was glad to get there. Of course, I was crushed when we lost, but we didn't have huge hopes like this. Just very frustrating. I'm not going to give up, but it's just frustrating, plain and simple.

Our rotation is better than LA. We were the best team in the NL during the regular season, and that hasn't changed in one game. We now have a better offense compared to last year. If we take the game tomorrow, we're still the favorites IMO.
