Haha, I was born in Hoffman Estates, IL. The most famous thing where I'm from is Sears. People from Hoffman Estates * William Beckett (Lead Singer of The Academy Is) * Christopher Bollyn * Sherri Shepherd * Sagar Patel * Adam T. Siska (bassist in the band The Academy Is) * Dave Waterbury * Mike Carden (lead guitar in the band The Academy Is) This is on Wikipedia. I added my name, bolded, a couple months ago. Yep, this is just insane. Fleury (Pitt goalie) was just being basically attacked with the puck, and he survived without a goal.

I mean, he has had his emotions controlled for this year for the most part. And this is one of his best starts, so, I'd say it's bad. But not that bad. Oh yeah, to clarify, I don't mean best starts as in this game, but best start of the year.

Yeah, I love sports. I'm watching hockey on the TV, and watching baseball on the computer. I think the Cubs tie it soon. It seems like we are hitting the ball hard, and eventually a ball will sneak into PETCO's cavernous outfield. Lol, was I right? I love this ballpark now. For now.

I saw your name "carolinacubbie" and just assumed you were in the good carolina. Guess I was wrong :wink: Speaking of that, why is it East carolina and not EastERN Carolina like all the other state universities? Just think that's a little weird. I thought this shirt was cool:http://www.palmercash.com/images/products/northcarolina-350.jpg I'm not sure, but I do know that it pisses all of us off when people refer to us as EastERN Carolina. I've never heard an actual explanation though Yeah, I live near Cary (Apex), NC, and I have a cousin who recently graduated at ECU. He always gets mad when I say "Eastern" Carolina University. I think it would be funny if we were related. My brother went to ECU and I live in Cary and used to live in Apex Well, my cousin that went to ECU, has a sister, and she's not a Cubs fan, as far as I can tell :) By the way, sorry everybody for the North Carolina small talk in the game thread.
