  2. YESSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! A FREAKING NO-NO BY Z!!!!
  3. Geez, I really, really want to see this, but it's not coming on the Superstation. EDIT- woot ESPN
  4. Agreed on most points. I still think they'd be a harder matchup than Houston lets say, but I definitely don't hate the Milwaukee Brewers, and if the Cubs weren't going to be a playoff team, I'd want them to be. I wouldn't root for them to lets say win the World Series, because their fans would never let us hear the end of it. Yeah, I always liked the Brewers a little until they, you know, became good. Now I don't hate them, but I wouldn't mind seeing them in the playoffs. I live in a place where I don't have to face annoying fans of other teams (I live in NC, no one hear talks much about baseball), so maybe that's why I don't really totally despise other teams (except of course the Cards http://www.northsidebaseball.com/Forum/images/smilies/icon_razz.gif)
  5. QFT. I hate when I'm talking baseball with people, usually non Cubs fans, and when I make a good point about the Cubs, they say "Yeah...but they're cursed..." I think all curses are BS, plain and simple.
  6. Yup, the Panthers are always a tough draw. The Colts just didn't plain show up last week, and the Bears overpowered them. But the Panthers will show up. Games against Carolina seem to be the most exciting, at least for me, since I live in NC. So I can't wait till we *hopefully* blow their brains out.
  7. http://rushthecourt.files.wordpress.com/2008/01/erin-andrews-at-penn-st.jpg At PSU. The Post Count Padder will like that.
  8. You mean there's a chance we won't make the playoffs!
  9. My first choice would probably be the Dodgers, and we will likely end up with them, or the D-Backs, whichever takes the NL West. Right now, it's looking like this #1 seed:Cubs #2:Mets #3:Dodgers #4:Brewers meaning we'd play LA. If the D-Backs catch the Dodgers, I doubt they'll catch the Mets/Phillies, so we'll basically face the NL West winner barring dramatic changes. But seriously, I think if the Cubs play like they did mid-season, or at least better than this month so far, we'll be fine. Despite the recent troubles, the Cubs are still the best team in the NL, and I think this will be confirmed come October.
  10. I hate the nerve-racking, heart-attack inducing endings, but it's all part of being a good team. If you win a lot, many of those wins will go down to the wire. I accept that, as long as this team doesn't kill me before October ;) .
  11. C'mon Cubs. I don't want to start the next game thread :beg:
  12. I accepted the following trade: Send Brees, Felix Jones Receive Delhomme, McFadden, Thomas Jones I got this offer from another team. At first, it was Justin Fargas instead of Thomas Jones, but I countered and got Jones instead. Good trade, right? :ninja:
  13. I'm really excited for this game. My birthday, in my state, and I don't have school the next day. It would've been perfect for me to go to see it in person, but NFL tickets are really, really pricey. Anyway, at least I'll catch it on TV. I think Carolina is a good team this year, but if the Bears play near the level that they did today, we're off too a 2-0 start \:D/ .
  14. I agree wholeheartedly, but I read the bolded word wrong, and that can cause a bit of a problem when combined with the italicized word.
  15. your horny? And uncir.... nevermind... I'm sure this is most other Bears fans http://www.dnagardens.com/images/Berry-Smart-happy.jpg Speaking of...err...happy fruits, is it just me or is this picture disturbing?: http://www.istockphoto.com/file_thumbview_approve/3811091/2/istockphoto_3811091_happy_fruit.jpg
  16. All the failed challenges and timeouts used earlier has to sting now for the Colts. I'm not complaining, though.
  17. A very low throw, and a great stop!
  18. In. I drafted him but was too afraid to start him. After suffering through Maroney today, I feel stoopid. We need to think up a better name. Does he have a nickname? 4 Dayz (Tays) :P
  19. I'm liking Turner's play calling today. Very predictable, but effective. On a side note, I hate when they do TD-commercial-kickoff-commercial.
  20. Even Al Michaels is talking about the neckbeardedness of our QB.
  21. I love this short passing game, slicing through the Indy D.
