    Wow, I checked ESPN about 30 minutes ago and saw a little note "Cubs land A's pitcher Harden"! I made a post on another forum about what Oakland fans could expect of Gallagher, E-Patt, and Murton, and asked in return about Harden and Gaudin, and got this response: Gaudin seems like Marquis-ish, but at least he's only 25 and won't have a huge salary.

    I know it's been said before, but I think the Cardinals will fade away by the end of the year. The best records in the NL by season's end IMO will be: 1. Cubs (92-70) 2. Brewers (90-72) 3. Phillies (88-74) 4. D-Backs (86-76) 5. Cardinals (83-79)

    Did Lou get ejected? I just got home. Yeah, apparently "swinging" is no longer a strike for the white sox, so lou killed, fried, and ate the umpire. Did he start throwing bases or something? Anybody have a video?

    I went down to eat when the score was 8-2 and, looking at the box score Edmonds and Ward had good games, which are good signs I guess. Not many positives to take away from today.

    3-1 It was 3-0, according to Gameday. It was 3-1 according to Gameday and the guys on the radio. I mean it was 3-0 at one point. 3-1 by the time he swung.
