    It was a typical Dunn performance. 1-4 HR 3 Strikeouts. So far this year, he has 22 hits and 31 K's.

    Are you a big fan of the whiff without the walks or something? I like to see players possess a tool that you just can't teach. But what if that is the only tool?

    He has kind of skipped around since leaving the Cubs. Went from Washington, to Cincy, where he spent the majority of the year in AAA, and this offseason signed a minor league deal with TB.

    Huh? Are you really comparing the value of Wade Miller to JJ? Jones is not a star, never will be, but he's solid.

    Exploratory huh, classic. Its like the kid that goes to the nurse's office at school wanting to go home because they are "sick." I bet Prior didn't win any perfect attendence awards. Exploratory surgery isn't to gauge if there is a problem or not, it's to try to isolate where a problem is. It's done on the shoulder frequently because shoulder injuries are so hard to diagnose-I think the criticism of Prior is unwarranted in this case. I'm kidding. Just seems that is there was that big of a problem it wouldn't be that hard to pinpoint.

    Same. The point of the Double Swtich is to make sure the pitcher spot doesn't come up right away, that is why you double switch. Taking out Floyd and putting the pitcher's spot in the 2 hole would have made zero sense. Put the pitcher in JJ's spot and he's further down, you can have more position players hit before the P spot.

    Unfair trade, Wuertz is a much better pitcher. Only way I do it is if Jesus is bringing over some seriously good karma. Are you telling me Jesus H. Christ can't hit a fastball? Curveball.

    He isn't picking up that it was a slider and not the fastball. He would've been able to lay off both his strikeouts if he could. no, he's been laying off that obviously outisde pitch, but it's being called. he can't not swing at it. the ump is screwing him. But both those pitches bit into the dirt, neither would've been called strikes. no, but he's obviously frustrated with how the game is being called. wainright isn't this good for the love of Christ. He's frustrated with his lack of ability to hit the ball.

    Stop making excuses for him. he has been extremely bad so far this year, despite umpires.

    Can we put a moritorium on the Guzman lovefest until he is sufficiently stretched out to be a starting pitcher and putting up some good starts? Don't think so. He was very good as a starter last year and his stuff is roughly a trillion times better than Steadman's. He needs to be in the rotation instead of him. I'm not saying he shouldn't be, but stamina wise he sin't there yet, and probably won't be for another two weeks.
