Didn't he just rob Jones of an XBH this inning? Does that mean anything if Floyd gets a hit here? He's awful defensively.

It's not that we lose, but how we lose. That never changes. Oh and it's never too early to freak... This is ridiculous. All teams lose like this. Even great teams lose ~60 games. And among those 60 there are plenty of games that were blown by boneheaded plays and bad luck. Are you kidding? Dude, you have the updated magic number to clinch yet? Can't keep blowing these chances!

You hear Cub-bashing, I hear honesty. "Honest" or not, I have trouble respecting the opinion of someone who once suggested we trade Aramis Ramirez for Cesar Izturis. I have no trouble at all respecting Stone's opinion on the game of baseball. I don't agree with that statement, but it doesn't mean he is always wrong. He knows the game, I think he went out of his way taking jabs at players and Baker simply b/c his situation with the Cubs went so far downhill towards the end of '04 to the point everyone knew he wasn't back. He went out in a poor way, it's probably not his personality in general and having to deal with all the BS from players like Alou, Mercker, etc. as well as Baker, but he should've handled it better. Nothing to add on this situation. But just had to say I can't stop laughing at your video at the bottom of the post.
