  1. Don't you know? The Cubs and Sox have a heated rivalry going!
  2. Theriot at leadoff makes me want to punch things (definitely if fuku's in that same line-up)
  3. WTF? Bradley has always said he knows he isn't playing well and that he knows that's on him. The boos just piss him off.
  4. This dude's ERA as a starter is over 8. Please win Cubs
  5. They barely had gloves back then. Roy Johnson had 31 in 1929
  6. I think if there going to use replay, they should use it for other things. Home runs arent the only time an umpire can change the course of a game with a bad call. It should be like football where they can do it on whatever, but only get a limited amount. I know the game moves slow enough already, but if their going to use replay, thats how it should be. I'm in favor of manager challenges.
  7. If you're gonna lose do it now so at least this Misch guy can have to excitement of getting his first MLB win
  8. He had some? I'm pretty sure he's always had the lowest P/PA on the Cubs. Last year he walked 73 times in 661 PA's. That's not bad
  9. Was that as close to the basket as Gameday made it look like?
  10. At least Bradley and Lee came to play
  11. What the hell happened to Theriot's patience?
  12. Based on what did you expect that? Anyway, add about .050 to Bradley's slugging and he's done exactly what I expected him to do. As a hitter, I'm not that disappointed in him. I am disappointed in his attitude to the point where I don't particularly want him on the team anymore. I know a lot of it is media bating, but it's pretty clear this is going to go on for the remainder of his contract if he stays. I have no real interest in seeing him be a negative presence in the clubhouse for a few more years. If Hendry can get a decent return, he should. Trading him for sixty cents on the dollar, though? Deal with the distraction. On a related note, does anyone know the context of that "I don't want the game to go more than nine innings" quote? What? I've never heard a teammate say he didn't like Bradley. He seems to get along with everyone on the team.
  13. The Twins? I'm surprised Harden got through the NL
  14. The guy is being misunderstood. I read an article on MLB yesterday that had him saying this:
  15. If a player cleared waivers he can be traded after july 31.
  16. He's the Cubs leadoff hitter. Figures.
