    arod has a .279/.373/.483/.856 line in the postseason. I'd hardly call that "bad". His OPS is actually better than Jeter's: he's .309/.377/.469/.845

    How much better was Ibanez this year than normal, though? Sure, he had a great start playing in a bandbox in the NL, but he settled into the norm. He finished with a 130 OPS+, quite comparable to his 125-121-124 the previous three seasons. Over the course of the season, he was mostly as expected (unless one was expecting him to regress due to age). 1st half: 1.015 OPS 2nd half: .774 OPS

    Carp and Wainwright are both very good pitchers, but Lincecum is just plain dominating almost every time he goes out there. Too bad his run support is close to nonexistent. If he were on the Cardinals, his record would be better than Wainwright's.

    I fear Derek Jeter is going to win AL MVP, even though he's only half the baseball player Mauer has been this year. Come on, his OPS is .2 lower than Mauers. He's not even the best player on the Yankees. He's not even the best SS on the Yankees.

Has anyone here said they actually hate Milton? This thread has been 32 pages of "He's horrible", "I want him gone", "he's an [expletive]", "Why don't we give him away to whoever the [expletive] wants him",...

    Apparently Milton Bradley can only do wrong. I hope he stays and has an awesome 2010 so I can hear the haters find some way to say how much he still sucks. Don't you know, he kills kittens!

    His FIP as a Cub is 4.17 entering today. I don't know what that means Fielding Independent Pitching. aka what a pitcher's ERA should be if you didn't take fielding into account (only things the pitcher can control - HBP, BB, HR, IBB and K's)

    Well, that would explain the whole "I hate Cubs fans/ I love 'em!", "I love it here/Hate it here" stuff. I hope he can get professional help, and start with a clean slate next season. But I guess that's wishful thinking on my part.
