  1. He's never hit more than 22 HR in one season. I expected him to be something like .280-.300 AVG .850-.900 OPS 18-25 HR
  2. Am I the only one that thinks Bradley looks like a nice, friendly guy?
  3. Got it. Yeah sorry I kinda wrote that in a hurry, after reading that again it didn't make sense to me either.
  4. What he said. Quit being a prima donna, earn your paycheck, and [expletive] HUSTLE. A 3-step process to becoming loved by Cub fans. Bradley hustles more than probably every other guy on the team. If you can't see that, you're not paying attention. I've never seen anybody be so happy to get a walk as Bradley. What is that supposed to mean? That he's happy when he gets on base and shows it, therefore shows that he cares. One of the problems people have with Bradley is that he looks like he doesn't care. I'm saying this isn't true.

  6. Oh, you mean NELSON perez 8-[
  7. I really don't understand the Bradley-hatred at Wrigley. He's OPSing near .900 at home, so what's there to boo about? Besides, it's always dumb to boo at someone that gets on base at a .400 rate. I like Bradley. he's the perfect number two hitter on the team right now. They just need to get off his back and he needs to stop bringing it up. Start fresh next year and it'll all be over.
  8. ...are the unluckiest team in baseball. They had 12 players on the DL, who are now joined by Johan who's out for the rest of the year.
  9. There is absolutely no chance whatsoever that we sweep the Cardinals.
  10. Well, thank god he's not saying Ricketts is actually considering Stone. It's just the dumb blog from some journalist that doesn't know anything but has to write something.
  11. Please don't let Abreu get his first RBI of the season here
  12. according to gameday this ump has one freaky zone
  13. I hope this isn't gonna be one of those "17 hits but no runs" games...
  14. Supposedly he's had a sore knee for most of the season
  15. If anyone's interested in baseball that isn't agonizing to watch, the Giants and Rockies have a pretty good game going (Lincecum vs. Jimenez). I'm so certain the Cubs aren't going to make the playoffs that I'm actually rooting for the Giants at this point. (of course, in the small chance the Cubs do make it, I'll feel like an idiot)
  16. I'd rather have a 18 mil part time player sucking on the bench than sucking on the field, thank you very much!
  17. There is absolutely no reason for Fuku not to be leading off. But oh well, at least Miles isn't playing...
  18. no one seems to be impressed with him anymore. Last place in year 2.... I think it's pretty hilarious they suck harder than a Pirates team filled with AAA players
  19. He's a 27 year old with the best stuff in the majors (right now). If the Cubs want to contend next year, I think they'd better offer him arbitration. Plus, I'd love to keep him. He's really fun to watch when he's on.
  20. Billingsley So we're gonna get swept. Awesome.
  21. Who's pitching for the Dodgers tomorrow?
